The only way to edit sources easily. Should be standard!

This should be included in confluence core. Formatting ALWAYS breaks when I edit pages, and this helps me fix it.

Copy/paste directly out of the Edit pane rarely works for the type of advanced formatting I use within my spaces or in collaboration with other teams (possibly running in different Confluence server instances), but source editor alleviates all of those most migration headaches by retaining everything (except the page-specific attachments). Yes there is a use case for this that copying/cloning won't suffice otherwise.

Not supported by Atlassian and no data center compatibility. This plugin has a ton of game breaking bugs for us, we've upvoted and commented on the issues trying to hope that Atlassian would fix them and they have not. For example, SOURCE-106 (https://jira.atlassian.com/projects/SOURCE/issues/SOURCE-106) has been open since 2014 and there hasn't been one peep from Atlassian on fixing it. There are a ton of other bugs like this. We ended up switching to Mohamicorp's version (https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.mohamicorp.html.source.editor.for.confluence/server/overview) which is this plugin with some added features and FIXES for these bugs! We're willing to pay for this plugin if it means support.

Documentation link is dead. Data Center verification needed. Very handy otherwise. -1 star due to above issues.
