    More details

The Send-Email-To-Page plugin uses a single email account, but allows users to send emails to any page on the server. Those emails can optionally create new pages, add comments to existing pages, add attachments, and even append content to existing pages.

If used with a Google Mail account or other server which supports email plus address aliasing then each Confluence page has it's own email address (even if it doesn't yet exist) via the single account. However any email system will work. There are several ways to specify content destinations (pages/comments/blogs). The system has defaults to use the email subject as the page name or a 'command tag' can be inserted into the email to tell it what to do - specifically what page to create and where. You can also add labels to the pages/blogs you create via email.

Works like you'd expect but it's not what you expected. Send an email to an account and it will create a page based on that account on ONE page specified in ONE space. Reply to the email and it will overwrite the contents of the original page with the reply contects.. this isn't cool when multiple people want to update the same page via email. It looks like the developer has already thought of this by mentioning feature where you can have replies ADD comments... but why is this not DEFAULT behaviour.. why is this a feature? Who would want their pages lost and overwritten every time? Speaking of default behaviour, why can only one email account be set up? Why can't I create 50 different email accounts and when one is used it creates a page here... and this one creates a page somewhere else.... reall? a single page? ONE? in a single space? Awesome idea.. and I would buy this yesterday if the basics were there... but it seems like the DEV started it and then abandoned the project... sad because we need this. Until the useful stuff is in the app I can't see why people would pay for it, nor can I understand why the dev would sacrifice his dignity and try and actually sell something unfinished. Thanks for the effort though. If you ever finish the plugin, I'll definitely buy it for our office. 4 stars if the functionality was there... one star because its a beta and not actually useful or practical as is.

Thank you for trying out the add-on.

The add-on actually does everything you said it should do and quite a bit more.

I am wondering if you made a few assumptions without getting a chance to look at the documentation?

It took me a couple of reads to understand what you were saying because the plugin definitely lets you create multiple pages, blogs and comments anywhere you want to including across different spaces via different email addresses or subjects.

The add-on does indeed allow you to create *multiple pages* anywhere in your Confluence server via email. Pages can be specified using 1) different email addresses 2) the subject line 3) by special tags in the content.

It does in fact support multiple email addresses through plus addressing which some severs support such as Google Mail. If you look through the documentation you will find several different ways to create different pages, label them, add comments and more. If you have a more limited email server like Exchange then you will need to use the subject line or command tags.

Actually the default behavior of the add-on IS to add comments. I have just set up a clean install and tested/verified this behavior both manually and through my test suite. If you are seeing different behavior there could be an issue related to your system, but comment creation IS what happens when multiple emails are sent to the same page.

Based on your comments I am looking forward to both a purchase and a 4-star review! ;) Just kidding. I have been meaning to make a new demo video to do a better job showcasing the features which might help.

Hi, Can you open a support ticket by emailing support (at) artemissoftware.freshdesk.com or going to the "Support Tab" on this page? Thanks!

The plugin works great. Our one issue withit is to focused around gmail. It would be nice in the future to be able to configure multiple emails and direct each email to a different space. We use this to support project management activities and consolidate documents from emails, this would really streamline the process to be able to direct based on the email address to a different space/page. unfortunatley we are a corporate and cannot use gmail.

    Pricing

    Pricing details are loading…

    Paid-via-Atlassian pricing FAQ

How does server add-on pricing work?

Server products and add-ons are hosted on your servers. Licenses are perpetual and the purchase price include 12 months of maintenance (support and version updates).

You can renew maintenance after 12 months at 50% of the current purchase price. You can upgrade the tier of your host product and add-on licenses at any time. Upgrade prices are calculated based on Atlassian's formula (view example).

If add-on pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

How do I determine my server pricing tier?

The add-on tier should match the licensed user tier of the Atlassian host application. For example, if you have a Confluence Server license for 25 users, you should purchase the 25-user tier for add-ons. Even if fewer users want to use the add-on than your host application license, the two licenses should match exactly.

Do you offer academic, community, or open-source licenses?

For server add-ons, purchase and renewal is half-price if you have an academic license for your Atlassian host application. Server add-ons are always free for community and open-source licenses. Cloud add-ons do not have discounted or free licenses.

For more details about qualifying for special licenses, see here.

Can I extend my free trial?

For server add-ons, you can extend your add-on trial up to 5 times - in other words, for up to six months. Extend your trial by generating a new evaluation license key from Atlassian Marketplace. Click Try it free and you'll be directed to generate a new license. Paste this license key into the add-on listing in UPM from your Atlassian host application, and you're all set.

How can I buy add-ons for my legacy JIRA Server or Confluence Server license?

If you own a legacy JIRA Server Unlimited (100+ users) or Confluence Server Unlimited (2000+ users) license purchased in 2012 or earlier, legacy add-on pricing is no longer available. You have two options for add-on purchasing:

    • Purchase the add-on at the non-legacy Unlimited (10000+ users) tier.
    • Renew your JIRA or Confluence license at a non-legacy tier, then purchase the add-on at the same tier.
