How to make sure that other users will read your Confluence content? Just add a Read Confirmation request to your page

How to make sure that other users will read your Confluence content? Just add a Read Confirmation request to your page

Request a Read Confirmation for a page

Show all users the pages they should read

Check on the status of your requests

Quickly assign Read Confirmation requests for a page to individual users or Confluence groups. You can request the users to explicitly acknowledge having read the page and specify a deadline.

Add the Important Information Macro to a prominent page inside Confluence. Each user will see an individual list of all pages that she should read. And he can easily navigate to these pages from the list.

You can check at any time on the current status of your Read Confirmation requests. By simply clicking the "Remind" button you can send e-mails to all users who have not viewed the page yet.

The main feature we would need is visibility for page owners to see who has and who hasn't agreed to a page. Ideally we would send approval to a group (all employees) and then have a page that the content owner could go see to reference who has agreed and who hasn't. Without this, it is not applicable for many of our use cases.

Good product, We have plans to buy the "Avono Read Confirmation" plugin but we need to find a way to see all read pending confirmation from ALL USERS, like an admin page. I know there is the "The Important Information Macro" but this macro shows only the pending confirmation requests for the user CURRENTLY LOGGED IN. Is there another option?

Currently there isn't, sorry. I'll update my response when this feature is available.

Good add-on! GUI could need some refurbishing. No support for 5.9.

Support for Confluence 5.9 was added just a few days after it went live...

Great add-on! Would be even better if we could download a report with users who acknowledged reading the page.

    Paid-via-Atlassian pricing FAQ

How does server add-on pricing work?

Server products and add-ons are hosted on your servers. Licenses are perpetual and the purchase price include 12 months of maintenance (support and version updates).

You can renew maintenance after 12 months at 50% of the current purchase price. You can upgrade the tier of your host product and add-on licenses at any time. Upgrade prices are calculated based on Atlassian's formula (view example).

If add-on pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

How do I determine my server pricing?

Add-ons are billed based on the number of users in your host product. The add-on tier should match the licensed user tier of the Atlassian host product. For example, if you have a Confluence Server license for 25 users, you should purchase the 25-user tier for add-ons. Even if fewer users want to use the add-on than your host product license, the two licenses should match exactly.

Do you offer academic, community, or open-source licenses?

For server add-ons, purchase and renewal is half-price if you have an academic license for your Atlassian host product. Server add-ons are always free for community and open-source licenses.

For more details about qualifying for special licenses, see here.

Can I extend my free trial?

For server add-ons, you can extend your add-on trial up to 5 times - in other words, for up to six months. Extend your trial by generating a new evaluation license key from Atlassian Marketplace. Click Try it free and you'll be directed to generate a new license. Paste this license key into the add-on listing in UPM from your Atlassian host product, and you're all set.

How can I buy add-ons for my legacy JIRA Server or Confluence Server license?

If you own a legacy JIRA Server Unlimited (100+ users) or Confluence Server Unlimited (2000+ users) license purchased in 2012 or earlier, legacy add-on pricing is no longer available. You have two options for add-on purchasing:

    • Purchase the add-on at the non-legacy Unlimited (10000+ users) tier.
    • Renew your JIRA or Confluence license at a non-legacy tier, then purchase the add-on at the same tier.
