REST Java Client for Jira
This is not a plugin per se. It's a Java client library (usuable from any JVM-based language like Scala, Groovy, JRuby, etc.).
The purpose of this library is to make Jira REST API very easy to use on the client side.
JRJC removes the need of traversing URIs, preparing requests and parsing the output.
This project is not actively supported by Atlassian, but feel free to contribute to it.

Version 2.0.0-m19 • Jira Server 5.0 - 6.0 • Released 2013-05-07
Preview of incoming 2.0 stable version
This is a preview of incoming 2.0 stable release (not scheduled yet). The code is quite stable and we're missing only few issues before releasing 2.0.
The documentation is for now outdated - it will be updated while releasing stable version.
For the sample usage please refer to source code: https://bitbucket.org/atlassian/jira-rest-java-client/src/75a64c9d81aad7d8bd9beb11e098148407b13cae/test/src/test/java/samples/ExampleCreateIssuesAsynchronous.java?at=master
- The new version is asynchronous, so you can run many requests in the same time!
- Support for Jira < 5.0 was dropped to increase development speed.
- Code was split into few modules, so if you use maven please update your dependencies to com.atlassian.jira:jira-rest-java-client-core:2.0.0-m19.
