Tried on Jira Cloud. Failed to load board with just ~ 1200 issues and spiked CPU to 100% seemingly indefinitely in both Firefox and Chrome.

Hi Luke, as far as I could analyze, this problem is due to an unlimited, recursively looping algorithm running to set epics for grouping, which depends on the selected issues and data combinations: it is not a general problem but effecting your case. I have fixed that immediately as far as I could reproduce that. Please retry and write your feedback at support@gantt.polscheit.de: that's my official support channel. - Kind regards, Frank

Really valuable plugin for project management. Frank Polscheit helped me embed Gantt-Chart for Jira in Confluence thereby making the chart available for viewing, not only to developers and QA testers, but also to other individuals that had something to do with the project and their only access to project information is Confluence. Frank's support is superb and very prompt in assisting. You ask him questions and he returns back to you promptly with really useful answers. He's a genius!

Frank, Thanks for the update, will give it a try. However, I am concerned re converting story point to hours or vice versa. It is not recommended practice in Agile. I wonder in the scheduler logic, can we not use story points to drive the calculation of end dates. Each story has story points assigned and once the sprint cycles have been defined and sprints created the scheduler should be able to calculate end date for all ranked storys? As such don't see a need to start the sprint. As many story points available through the sprints or in the backlog should be dealt with for calculation of end dates, based on fact that each sprint is definite 1 or 2 week cycle set up within configuration. Thanks

We have a lot of problems with this ADDON, and the license is not perpetual, you must paid all the years for the use. My recomendation is, you must deeply evaluate this addon before buy a license. [Modification] This was the case previously, if it currently follows the Atlassian standard, I apologize for the comment. Thank you very much Frank. Fernando Calvo

    Hi Fernando,

my add-on uses the standard license model of Atlassian: you buy a license once including 1 year maintenance. Afterwards, you can prolongate maintenance, which includes support and upgrades/updates of the software, for 50% costs. If you do not prolongate, all functionality still remains and you can use it! If you upgrade the underlying Jira to newer versions, you may have to upgrade the add-on which requires a valid maintenance. The same payment model is used by all add-ons paid by Atlassian!

I have no idea, why you are writing that the license is not perpetual etc. ... please contact Atlassian sales as well if you have any problem with your license.

    Kind regards,

    Frank

Dear Frank I would like to know if it is possible to set the working time of the day, for example, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and in the gantt chart, view the tasks according to the estimated time in hours for the start and end date. For example: task # 1 duration 3hs date start 04/04/2018 8:00 AM end date (automatic) 04/04/2018 11:00 AM; task # 2 end-to-start task # 1, duration 3hs start and end date (automatic) 04/04/2018 11:00 a.m. and 04/04/2018 14:00 a.m. Thank you and congratulations for the great product

After using the Gantt-Chart for about a month, we are convinced it was the right choice for our projects. Didn't have the chance to try all of the features included, because we implemented it in running projects. But we're looking forward to use more features like work-load planning etc. Biggest advantage regarding other Add-ons is the suppert from Mr. Polscheit. Had two bugs, which have been solved easily in a couple of days. Response time always was under 24h and he even included one of our requested features in the Add-on within a day! Never had this kind of support before.

A problem occurred during use,When creating a problem, the drop-down box does not display properly in the interface, but is displayed behind the problem pop-up box, resulting in the inability to select. Disable the plug-in after the drop-down box can be displayed properly. How to solve this problem, thanks!

    Pricing FAQ

How does cloud app pricing work?

Cloud apps are sold as a monthly or annual subscription. You are eligible for support and automatic version updates as long as your subscription is active.

When your subscription renews each month, you are automatically billed for apps based on the number of users in your instance.

If app pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

How do I determine my cloud pricing?

Apps are billed based on the number of users in your Atlassian product. Jira Cloud apps are priced based on the maximum users of the Jira products on your instance. For example, if you have Jira Software (50 users) and Jira Service Desk (10 agents) on the same instance, you pay the 50-user price for apps.

The pricing structure for cloud apps is as follows:

    • Monthly subscriptions with up to 10 Atlassian product users are billed at a flat rate price.
    • Monthly subscriptions with more than 10 users are billed per user, starting at the first user.
    • Monthly subscriptions with more than 100 users are billed per user. The table above provides example pricing at various user levels.

If you've opted for annual billing for your Atlassian product, apps are also billed annually at a discount (12 months for the price of 10).

Do you offer academic, community, or open-source licenses for cloud apps?

Academic, community and open source licenses are not available for cloud apps.

Can I extend my free trial?

For cloud apps, you cannot extend your free evaluation period. All cloud apps are immediately subscribed by a user, and we provide a free evaluation period. This is a minimum of 30 days and ends on the second billing cycle after you first subscribe to the app.

    Pricing FAQ

How does server app pricing work?

Server products and apps are hosted on your servers. This app is sold as a perpetual license, and the purchase price includes 12 months of maintenance (support and version updates).

You can renew maintenance after 12 months at 50% of the current purchase price. You can upgrade the tier of your Atlassian product and app licenses at any time. Upgrade prices are calculated based on Atlassian's formula (view example).

If app pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

How do I determine my server pricing?

Apps are billed based on the number of users in your Atlassian product. For Jira 7.0 or later, the app tier should match the maximum tier of the licensed Jira products on your instance. For example, if you're running Jira Software (500 users) and Jira Service Desk (25 agents) on the same instance, you should purchase the 500-user tier for apps. For versions of Jira prior to 7.0, the app tier should match the licensed user tier for Jira. Even if fewer users want to use the app than your Jira license, the two licenses should match exactly.

Can I install this app in a Data Center product?

Yes, this app has a Data Center approved version. If you're using a Data Center product, you should install the Data Center version of the app.

Learn more about Data Center approved apps

What type of license do I need if I'm using this app in a Data Center product?

Because this app has a Data Center approved version, you should purchase a Data Center license for the app.

If you already own a server license for this app, you can continue using the server license in your Data Center product for a limited period of time.

Learn more about Data Center licensing

Do you offer academic, community, or open-source licenses for server apps?

For server apps, academic licenses are available at a 50% discount if you have an academic license for your Atlassian product.

Community and open-source licenses are available for server apps. Learn more about community and open source licenses.

Can I extend my free trial?

For server apps, you can extend your app trial up to 5 times - in other words, for up to six months. Extend your trial by generating a new evaluation license key from Atlassian Marketplace. Click Try it free and you'll be directed to generate a new license. Paste this license key into the app listing in UPM from your Atlassian product, and you're all set.

How can I buy apps for my legacy Jira Server or Confluence Server license?

If you own a legacy Jira Server Unlimited (100+ users) or Confluence Server Unlimited (2000+ users) license purchased in 2012 or earlier, legacy app pricing is no longer available. You have two options for app purchasing:

    • Purchase the app at the non-legacy Unlimited (10000+ users) tier.
    • Renew your Jira or Confluence license at a non-legacy tier, then purchase the app at the same tier.
