Details: 🗓️ Space Calendars
Create calendars that belong to a space, not just a page. Open Event Planner in the space sidebar to see every calendar you have access to, search and sort them, and see what's coming up next. Choose who can view and edit each calendar with Confluence's own permissions, and restore an earlier version from the version history.
🔗 Embed a Space Calendar
Show a space calendar on any page with the new Embed space calendar macro. It stays read-only on the page, appears in PDF and Word exports, and people edit it in its space.
👥 People, Location and Links on Events
Add the people involved, a location and a link to any event, and switch on Only my events to focus on your own.
🛡️ No More Lost Edits
When several people edit a calendar at the same time, everyone's changes are kept. Deleted an event by mistake? Undo it. If someone deletes an event while you're editing it, you can save your edit as a new event.
✨ A Cleaner Calendar Header
A new header with a New event button and clearer labels that fit narrow pages. Lock calendar stops anyone from adding or changing events until it's unlocked.
🔐 New Permissions
This update asks a Confluence admin to approve new permissions: creating, reading and deleting space calendars (stored as Confluence custom content), and reading spaces, content details and groups so calendars can be listed and shared with people and groups. Event Planner keeps working on its current version until the update is approved.
🐛 Bug Fixes & Improvements
Dates follow your own date format, exported pages show the correct event times and all-day dates, the event form works better with a keyboard and screen reader, and many smaller fixes.
