Evan NixonThis application is almost fantastic. The targeting tools for setting the conditions of when pages should be displayed, and how the app filters/searches for them is great. It's just really unforunate that when the page displays it is so friggin' ugly. Rather than using the same wiki-style renderer that you see natively on the Confluence page itself (or on a Jira ticket using the "Smart-Embed" feature) this app displays the page just....wrong. I'm not sure if it's using the "Old Editor" view or what the issue is, but the colours and formatting are just really really not nice.
I did raise a request with the developers (SUPPORT-56995) just before writing this, I would love to keep using this app, but because it breaks some 3rd party macros that we use on top of it's interface issues, we've removed this app and won't be going forward with implementing it. Instead we are now using our own automation which takes the value of a custom field, sends it via RestAPI -> CQL then displays it in another custom Wiki-Style renderer with Smart-Embed.....but honestly I'd greatly prefer to use this app.
If this was fixed I'd switch back to using and recommending this app in a heartbeat. If the pages you want to have embedded on your Jira tickets don't have ANY visual formatting that needs to be maintained, then I'd say this app is already fantastic for your needs.
