mailto.wiki - Email for Confluence

I've made a life-long side quest of browser based IT knowledge management. To a lot of folks, mailto.wiki might seem like one of those unnecessary niche tools but I think anyone looking to capture technical knowledge as it evolves in real time must have a rapid induction channel from email threads into their Confluence Space. mailto:wiki is perfect for this function. We all know that if the capture doesn't happen in real time, it is often lost in avalanche of emails we all receive. Resurfacing that information isn't easy to do 3 months or more later. With Rovo now, using mailto.wiki is an even bigger win - even if we send hundreds of emails a week through the email-to-KB pipeline and the pages just sit in our process "queue," (as child pages of our "mailto.wiki Queue" parent page - Rovo is great at surfacing needed knowledge. If I could build intranets & manage knowledge bases all day and still take home my current comp package - I would in a heartbeat. But since I have a "day job" - I have to lean on mailto.wiki for quick capture in hopes that my team learns to leverage Rovo to digest & formalize the knowledge documents. Thanks for making such a useful & flexible tool.

Does not Upload embeded pictures, which render it useless

  Update 2024-06-19: The lotus problem has been identified and solved for our customer. Please contact us if you still have issues and need help.

  Update 2024-05-20: We were able to identify that this issue occurs with HCL Domino (IBM Lotus). This was discovered through a report by another customer. We were able to reproduce it. As far as we know it does not occur on other mail servers. We're in the process of developing a fix. Unfortunately we cannot test with all mail servers and Confluence add-ons out there. Unfortunately in some instances less frequently used configurations may lead to bugs. We always give our best to fix any issue that customers report as fast as possible.

Thanks for this app - it greatly helps me speeding up my daily work: I use speech to text recognition using my mobile phone and send the text as an email to cloud - works perfectly!

Works great, does exactly what it promises. It's worth reading their documentation - I thought the app wasn't working, but it turned out I didn't have the right space configurations (Thanks Sebastian for helping me out!). Great app that I'm sure will be useful to our team.
