    ***PingPilot account creation instructions in this video or follow directions below***

    • Go to https://app.pingpilot.com/signup to create a free 2 week trial account.
    • You will need these credentials to activate the integration in the Atlassian Marketplace
    • Create your first signal by choosing the channels and agents you want to make available for your users

    ***PingPilot integration into JSD instructions in this video or follow directions below***

    • Navigate to https://app.pingpilot.com/account/integrations
    • Select "Add" next to "Jira Service Desk". This will initiate the integration and direct you back to the marketplace listing.
    • Chose the JSD instance (site) you would like to add the integration to.
    • Enter your PingPilot credentials
    • You're done! Enjoy.

    Ping Pilot is one of my favorite integrations. They are extremely user friendly, easy to use, and have been amazing at implementing requests and suggestions as things arise. I have never had an issue that wasn't resolved quickly, and they go above and beyond with customer support and provide a truly helpful app addition. They really look at thoughtful integrations to help make the workflow from Chat to Service Desk tickets as seamless and intuitive as possible. My service desk really wouldn't be complete without Ping Pilot.

    As a product manager, I've really enjoyed working with the team at PingPilot--they're extremely responsive, agile, and client-focused, and I'm continually impressed by how quickly they address not only issues that have arisen, but new features we've requested! I don't think any of those guys ever sleep--they're just always working hard to make their product better for their clients and for our end customers' experience with the platform. PingPilot understands that the experience they create in chat ultimately will reflect not on just them, but on us--their client--as we deliver chat services to our customers, and PingPilot takes this EXTREMELY seriously! I think sometimes that they care as much about our customers' experience as we do.

    To prevent friction in the setup and billing process, billing will be handled by PingPilot. The Getting Started screen now allows a preference for disabling/enabling the widget on the help center page or the service desk

    Installation

    1. Log into your Jira instance as an admin.
    2. Click the admin dropdown and choose Add-ons. The Find new apps or Find new add-ons screen loads.
    3. Locate Chat, Text & Voice for Jira Service Desk.
    4. Click Install to download and install your app.
    5. You're all set! Click Close in the Installed and ready to go dialog.
