Key highlights of the appCreate and update Jira tickets automatically from Datadog alerts with flexible customization options

Customize Jira Tickets to fit your needs

Customize the values of a ticket's required fields. This includes dynamic values that are populated when an alert is triggered, meaning your ticket can contain detailed info from Datadog alerts.

Update & resolve issues from Datadog alerts

Within a Datadog monitor, use the @jira command to create or update a Jira issue when the monitor is triggered. Any custom variable used in the ticket setup will be populated with the value from the alert.

See and collaborate on Jira tickets as events

All new and updated tickets will create a Datadog event within the app. The @jira-update command can be used within a comment of these events to add updates on the fly.

More details

The Datadog Jira integration allows you to create new Jira issues from triggered alerts in Datadog, and update existing issues with new information as it arises. New JIRA issues are also added as a Datadog event which can then be overlayed on the rest of your metrics in Datadog.
