    Adds support for the Git anonymous protocol in Stash

    Administrators mark the repository as public

    Users see a new URL for cloning repositories

    Users can clone the repository from the console

    Administrators mark a repository as public in Stash using the documentation Allowing public access to code

    Marking a repository (or its parent project) as public adds a new clone URL in the Clone button dropdown.

    Once enabled, users can use the new URL to clone or fetch the repository from the command line or a GUI client like Sourcetree.

    Adds support for cloning and fetching repositories over the Git anonymous protocol.

    Note that the plugin does not benefit from the caching provided by the Stash's bundled clone cache plugin.

    Maintenance release - Upgrade libraries and set Stash 3.8 as the minimum version


    • upgrade the plugin's library dependencies to match Stash 3.8;
    • remove the usages of any Stash API deprecated since Stash 2.6


    1. Log into your Bitbucket instance as an admin.
    2. Click the admin dropdown and choose Add-ons. The Manage add-ons screen loads.
    3. Click Find new add-ons from the left-hand side of the page.
    4. Locate Git protocol support for Stash via search. Results include app versions compatible with your Bitbucket instance.
    5. Click Install to download and install your app.
    6. You're all set! Click Close in the Installed and ready to go dialog.
