Description
AscentailTest prompts user actions on defects
By displaying test and defect status, AscentialTest prompts the user to rerun tests when fixes are ready to be confirmed and to either close issues or reject fixes based on the results of those tests.
Test selection using test result and defect status
AscentialTest provides queries to select tests to be executed based on the most recent test result and defect status.
Defects displayed along with test results
The relationship between test results and defect status is clearly depicted in the test execution module so that users can track and manage defects.

AscentialTest's integration with Jira supports the following features:
- Create a defect
- Assign a test to a defect
- Remove a test from a defect
- Check the current status of a defect
- Mark tests for execution based on defect status and test result status
- Access a defect to modify status and details
