    Start & Stop Toggl within an issue

    Convert your existing Toggl entries into worklogs

    When you start Toggl within an issue, a time entry is created in your Toggl account, which contains issue key and summary. When you stop it, a worklog is added to the JIRA issue

    You will always have time entries in the Toggl with the JIRA issue key and summary. This way you can be sure to never forget what exactly you were working on

    You can check which entries from the Toggl were not added to JIRA as worklogs. Useful when using Toggl Desktop app, since it stops and starts the timer automatically when your machine is idle

    Thank goodness for this app. I love using Toggl but really dislike using Jira for time tracking. This app works really well to track time in Toggl because it auto syncs to tickets inside of Jira. No need to spend much time in Jira. Really great app for creative people and web designers. The support staff were super helpful as well, making refinements and fixes to meet my personal criteria. They responded really quickly and polite.

    We started working with Toggl to track progress of our team as we think that this is a very nice and convenient tool. However we have noticed that there was no integration tool provided for Jira. Then we have found this add-on on the market. Initially it was very basic, however the developer contacted us very fast and promised to implement all required features (we asked for toggl sync with jira work log) and it turned out to be successful. We a using the add-on for quite a while and see no problems. I hope the new features will keep on coming!

    What's there isn't bad, needs better connectivity between Toggl Desktop and Jira. See Worklog Assistant.

    How does cloud add-on pricing work?

    Cloud pricing is subscription based. You are eligible for support and automatic version updates as long as your subscription is active.

    When your subscription renews each month, your pricing tier for host products and add-ons is automatically adjusted (as necessary) based on the number of users in your instance.

    If you've opted for annual billing for your host product, add-ons are also billed annually. Annual subscriptions for this add-on include a discount (12 months for the price of 10).

    If add-on pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

    How do I determine my cloud pricing tier?

    The cloud add-on tier is set automatically based on the maximum tier of the licensed JIRA applications on your instance. For example, if you have JIRA Software (50 users) and JIRA Service Desk (10 agents) on the same instance, your add-on tier is 50 users.

    Note: While this add-on has features specific to JIRA Service Desk, the add-on is technically available across the whole JIRA instance. Therefore the above guidelines for the license tier still apply.

    Do you offer academic, community, or open-source licenses?

    For server add-ons, purchase and renewal is half-price if you have an academic license for your Atlassian host application. Server add-ons are always free for community and open-source licenses. Cloud add-ons do not have discounted or free licenses.

    Can I extend my free trial?

    For cloud add-ons, you cannot extend your free evaluation period. All cloud add-ons are immediately subscribed by a user, and we provide a free evaluation period. This is a minimum of 30 days and ends on the second billing cycle after you first subscribe to the add-on.

    Installation

    1. Log into your JIRA instance as an admin.
    2. Click the admin dropdown and choose Add-ons. The Find new add-ons screen loads.
    3. Locate Toggl Integration for JIRA Cloud.
    4. Click Free trial to download and install your add-on.
    5. You're all set! Click Close in the Installed and ready to go dialog.
