Nice one, and almost(!) what I need. I'd appreciate two changes: 1) combined search, i.e. one search field being OR-expanded on multiple issue attributes. This would help if users don't know exactly where a certain information is stored. We use many custom fields, so this would help a lot. 2) remove/expand the low limit of three fields. Why not six or even ten fields, optionally? Together with a combined search, this would almost create a universal, generic search option, which is quite what I need :-)

Very useful tool for easy access to Jira search. Great support, developers respond quickly to bug reports and improvement suggestions - although it is a free add-on.

This tool is fantastic. it has helped my organization, as we have a custom field which is a ling to a prior issue management tool. My only complaint is that it does not seem to work for anonymous users. Any idea why?

UPDATE: the company implemented my suggestion in a timely manner and now the tool does exactly what I need. Great! A possible future enhancement would be the ability to have multiple search boxes (searching different fields or maybe different filters) in the same gadget instance. Old review: Disappointed because this does not seem to allow you to search Summary or Description. Any plans to add this? (The gadget would have to use ~ instead of = and apply quotation marks.)
