    Requirements:

    • Add custom 'Text Field (multi-line)' field named: "Checklists" at the Custom fields page and then associate the field "Checklists" to the appropriate screens ("Edit" screen etc).
    • Advice to hide “Checklists” field from view screen (example: http://take.ms/sC3gE)
    • Follow specific format of a line, e.g.
      • “# checklist items group as headline“,
      • " - to be checked item 1",
      • " + done item 2"

    Installation

    1. Log into your JIRA instance as an admin.
    2. Click the admin dropdown and choose Add-ons. The Find new add-ons screen loads.
    3. Locate Smart Checklists.
    4. Click Install to download and install your add-on.
    5. You're all set! Click Close in the Installed and ready to go dialog.
