    Embed GoogleMaps securely

Use all attributes of IFRAME tag

    Style with external CSS

With explicit IFRAME macro disabled GoogleMapsEmbed embeds the map in an IFRAME tag and verifies that the link leads to maps.google.com/maps/ms or maps.google.com/maps URL.

Plugins exposed all attributes of IFRAME tag - for you to use how you see fit.

Use ID and Class attributes to style the resulting IFRAME in different ways using external CSS stylesheet

    More details

Note: This plugin does NOT use Google Maps Dynamic API, does NOT require a Google Maps API key, does NOT do geocoding and does NOT generate the map dynamically. These can be done with (another) Google Maps plugin available from the Plugin Repository.

Instead the purpose of this plugin is to let you embed the content from publicly accessible Google Maps inside your Confluence page without enabling HTML or IFRAME macros that can be considered a security risk in various environments.

Works like a charm. Make sure you follow the notes on the plugin's support page about Google's changes to the URL format.

Hi Brett! Apologies that you have experienced this. You will be pleased to know that we have fixed this issue and it will now produce an output for you. The reason for it not working correctly was that Goggle Maps changed the way in which they formatted the URL. We have updated our instructions around this change and the notes can be seen here . Please take a look at the documentation update and get in touch with us directly at support@techtime.co.nz directly if you run into further problems!
