I think we can't migrate to JIRA without this plugin. It helped us to automate migrating attachments from all issues from a legacy system. Now we use it to automate various daily tasks. Definitely one of the best tools for admins.

We use this plugin to automated our integration with various tools that now create well over 100 tickets a day and allow us to link related tickets together. I don't think we could use JIRA without this plugin

Installation

  1. Log into your JIRA instance as an admin.
  2. Click the admin dropdown and choose Add-ons. The Manage add-ons screen loads.
  3. Click Find new add-ons from the left-hand side of the page.
  4. Locate JIRA Command Line Interface via search. Results include add-on versions compatible with your JIRA instance.
  5. Click Install to download and install your add-on. If your add-on cannot be installed directly into your application, you may be prompted to download.
  6. You're all set! Click Close in the Installed and ready to go dialog.
