Showed the report of effort logged by users but faced below issues: 1) How to get effort report at Version level ? 2) Effort report at Epic level was not available 3) Effort roll up issues: Users log effort at sub-task. Sub-tasks are part of User Stories and Stories are linked to Epics and Versions. This is simple happy and mostly used scenario. Now you expect that in extract or on UI report effort details from sub-task will roll up to story and Epic, but in reports only effort which is logged at story level is getting rolled up at Epic level.

    1. You can filter for Fixed and Affects versions and see the summarized worklog duration times (Quick Summary, Grant Total).

    2. You can filter for Epic Link which returns the Epic Issue and all the Issues that belongs to that Epic Issue and see the summarized worklog duration times (Quick Summary, Grant Total).

    3. We also believe that it would be useful for the users. We plan to implement this function in the future.

Great add-on. I didn't find any other free add-ons that give time reporting by projects, date ranges, or by users. Thanks!

Unfortunately, the Timetracker add-on is currently available only for JIRA Server instances and the cloud version development will not take place in the near future.

This add-on is very easy to use, especially with the various filters that can be placed in the query so that a customized report can be made. I have only used this recently and so far, so good. The only bug I have found is when exporting to excel (cvs as well) the time spent is not correct. For example, instead of "45m" it says "2700." I hope the next version addresses this, because otherwise the export function isn't very useful.

    Thank you for your review!

Since 2.7.0 and 3.3.0 versions, you can select the time format that appears in the exported reports in the Reporting user settings. You can choose between second format (eg. 2700) or the JIRA default (eg. 45min).

If it does not work for you with these or with higher versions, please send us a bug report with using the Feedback button or write to our support email address.

    Versions

    Version 3.4.3 JIRA Server 7.0.0 - 7.3.3 Released 2017-02-15

    Summary

    Bugfix release

    Details

    Bug fixes:

    • Reporting performance improvemenets
    • User name duplication in dropdown menus fixed
    • Jira filter error fixed

Due to performance issues, we replaced the user selector fields on the Reporting page. The new solution is closer to the usual user selector in JIRA, so it does not load all users immediately, but you can find all of them in the search field.

    Installation

    1. Log into your JIRA instance as an admin.
    2. Click the admin dropdown and choose Add-ons. The Manage add-ons screen loads.
    3. Click Find new add-ons from the left-hand side of the page.
    4. Locate Timetracker - Time Tracking & Reporting via search. Results include add-on versions compatible with your JIRA instance.
    5. Click Install to download and install your add-on.
    6. You're all set! Click Close in the Installed and ready to go dialog.

To find older Timetracker - Time Tracking & Reporting versions compatible with your instance, you can look through our version history page.
