Hi, This plugin has many useful features, however after installing it do not seem to be fully functional. We are using Confluence 5.9.7, and followed these steps: 1) On a page, Insert>Other Macros > Metadata Report Macro 2) Set 'Fields' as Page,Author,Version,LOC 3) 'Root' pointing to a page in space 4)Pages : @children 5)Maximum number of results : 500 With above settings for "Meatadata Report" macro , it displays only "Parent page name and author. I was expecting it to display all it's child pages also along with current page version. LOC , Version and @children options did not display any values. I found "spaces Metadata Report" macro when looking for "spaces-report" macro, then I have set fields to "Space,Owner,Last Changed By,Last Time Changed" . It rendered below error "Unable to render macro: java.lang.NullPointerException" Could someone help me in fixing it? Thank You

This plugin looks like exactly what I need - I'm figuring out how to use it, however there is one issue I have found. How do I delete metadata? for example, I added metadata using {metadata} - but even after I delete it, the deleted metadata still shows up in {metadata values} - how can I delete the old metadata?

    Hi Damien,

If you delete the {metadata} macro, and you add a {metadata values}, you should see a message like 'No metadata is attached to page "@self"'. Can you create a ticket in our support system so we can follow up this issue? https://comalatech.zendesk.com/.

    Best regards,

My Atlassian cloud account doesn't work at https://comalatech.jira.com May be there is problem!? So I use a review for my question: Is there a possibility to remove/clear a parent-space after set one? If I simply remove the parent-space macro from my space home page, the wiki's space hierarchy doesn't change. Version: 3.3.2

An incredibly powerful plugin that is more flexible than is currently possible with Atlassian's "Page Properties" macro. We use it extensively in our wiki. Latest version provides rich text editing for the "metadata-list" macro (no more wiki markup)! Thank you very much for this! One issue is the metadata-report "root=@self" option does not seem to be working in the latest version.

Hi Robert, thanks for the great review and the heads up on the metadata-report. Problem solved!

We are using the latest version of the Metadata Plugin on our Confluence 5.5.6 instance. Unfortunately, we experience a strange behaviour once this plugin is activated: If we rebuild the Confluence search index, afterwards we get problems that the recently-updated-macro is not showing information for some pages which means that the macro does not include all the pages that were modified. If we do another index rebuild from scratch, we get a another random result of the search index and the same or other pages are not included by the recently-updated macro. We could not identify issues on log with DEBUG on confluence.atlassian.search.lucene that are related to this. We spent much time to find out that exactly this plugin is causing this issue. If we disable this plugin, search index is built properly and we do not have issues with the Recently Updated Macro. Is there anything known about this issue? How can I find out some usage stats that run smoothly on a big database?

Hi Jens, We have deployed a new version which now supports all the missing macros and the space metadata list and space report macros are now fixed. This version is compatible with Confluence 5.7.4, could you confirm that this issue is fixed? Regards, Gorka
