Configure your terms of use
Format your terms of use as you wish. Select individual users and Confluence groups to be notified when any user revokes their agreement. See the date when each user has given their agreement, as required by the GDPR.
Users must agree to your terms of use
Users must accept your terms of use before they log into your system. This is important when to comply with the GDPR, as you will store their data. If a user doesn't agree, they can't log in.
View or revoke agreement to the terms of use
Users can view or revoke their agreement to the terms of use at any time. When they click revoke, they are automatically logged out of the system. When they next try to log in, they must agree again to the Terms of Use.

Ensure that all users agree to a disclaimer immediately after they first log into your instance. In order to comply with the GDPR, you need to get every user's permission to store and use their data within your system.
If a user doesn't accept your terms of use, they will be redirected to the login screen. Once the user agrees, their agreement is stored. After an administrator edits the terms, all users must agree again to the changed terms when they next try to log in.
As an administrator you can:
- format the terms as you wish with HTML
- edit the terms whenever you need to
- select individual users or Confluence groups to be notified whenever a user revokes their agreement
- see which users have accepted the terms and when they gave their agreement

- In some cases, when opening an attachment link, and the user had not yet agreed to the terms of use, the text "disclaimer-agreement-action" was shown instead of the terms. We fixed that.
