JIRA Time Tracking Portlet

The Time Tracking Plugin supplies an overview of time tracked over the last 7 days of work, ordered by days and starting time as well as the sum of work logged for a day. It supports users in keeping an eye on logged as well as leaked times, helping to decrease loss-through-forgetfulness.

I've tried to load the plugin and I've got an error, it is supposed to be version 2 but it isn't... Error: The plugin timetrackingportlet-2.2.jar is a version 1 plugin. Version 1 plugins cannot be dynamically installed. For more information on installing version 1 plugins see the UPM documentation.

Yes it is a simple plugin, but it does not claim to be anything else. Still you are not correct, the plugin does not show all worklogs for all users but only for the current user.

This tool has no other configuration possibility than tracking the time being spent on all projects/issues for all user by day.

Fixed bug in date calculation. Handling dates from two (or more) months is now possible


  1. Log into your JIRA instance as an admin.
  2. Click the admin dropdown and choose Add-ons. The Manage add-ons screen loads.
  3. Click Find new add-ons from the left-hand side of the page.
  4. Locate JIRA Time Tracking Portlet via search. Results include add-on versions compatible with your JIRA instance.
  5. Click Install to download and install your add-on. If your add-on cannot be installed directly into your application, you may be prompted to download.
  6. You're all set! Click Close in the Installed and ready to go dialog.
