    While easy to use and configure it bears a great limitation as stated by an official rep "It's clear that the connector is only supported a standard field validation so you have to avoid to use validation in Create action in JIRA workflow.     I'm trying to get this installed into Jira OnDemand and can't find the Customware Application link because I think I accidentally removed it when I tried installing other plugins. I am not pleased with the customer support. It is slow and does not provide valuable help. I would like to get this setup today if possible.

    We used to love this until it stopped working. When using it we now get the error message: "QUERY_TOO_COMPLICATED: Query is either selecting too many fields or the filter conditions are too complicated". Their response: In the latest connector we was included the control to not query everything in the Salesforce Object but it not available in yet in OnDemand and I'm not sure when they will release. Hope the new Connector 5.2.2+ will fix the problem. Don't buy this until they fix this issue

    i was reading the reviews to try to decide if I should buy the connector. I do need it, but my only concern is the safety issue. It is not supported by Atlassian. I do not know if it safe for my whole jira database. Hope the vendor or current users can give me more information about it. thanks

    We are HUGE fans of the SFDC/JIRA Connector. Both Engineering and Support now have a consolidated view into the progress of escalated issues. Support can create and track status of escalated JIRA tickets in SFDC directly and Engineering comments, issues raised are directly pushed into SFDC for greater visibility and collaboration. LOVE ITT!!!!

    Installation

    1. Log into your JIRA instance as an admin.
    2. Click the admin dropdown and choose Add-ons. The Manage add-ons screen loads.
    3. Click Find new add-ons from the left-hand side of the page.
    4. Locate Connector for Salesforce and JIRA via search. Results include add-on versions compatible with your JIRA instance.
    5. Click Install to download and install your add-on.
    6. You're all set! Click Close in the Installed and ready to go dialog.
