The latest version (3.3.5) does not fix the bug (sql-reporter) as mentioned in the release notes. When is the fix coming out? We are not able to upgrade Confluence to version 5.7 because of this. Thank you.

A good indicator of the effectiveness of a connector plug-in like this one is its transparency to the user. We depend on the ability to transfer information from SalesForce into our Confluence implementation and vice versa, and the ServiceRocket plug-in does this for us completely transparently. We haven't had any glitches at all during use. The set up was implemented by our Confluence customization partner, but they turned it around extremely quickly and didn't report any complications. Thanks to the ServiceRocket team for making this product. It makes a huge difference to the effectiveness of our use of Confluence and SalesForce.

We are glad that this plugin is useful and that you have a good partner who have helped you to implement it. If you need more examples you may refer to our Tutorial If your implementation is different from what is in the Tutorial perhaps you can share your template with us so that we can share it with others as well. This will be a very useful plugin for us to use. Do you know when it will be compatible with Confluence 5.4? Thanks

We've used this connector as a SSO solution between our Customer Portal which runs on SalesForce.com and our product documentation which is housed on Confluence. Confluence user accounts are created seemlessly for our SalesForce.com Portal Users. When a Portal User clicks a link in SalesForce.com, they are automatically taken to Confluence and logged in automtically. A great plugin for any company that wants to integrate these two applications.

    More details

Your business users collaborate in Confluence. Your customer information lives in Salesforce.com. The Connector for Salesforce and Confluence lets business users view up-to-date Salesforce.com objects and data without leaving Confluence. As a result, business users have easy access to the information they need without having to navigate to another system.

With the connector, users can view within a Confluence page the following from Salesforce:

    • Accounts
    • Cases
    • Leads/Opportunities
    • And more

The connector also provides SSO (Single sign-on) functionality that enables Salesforce users to be created in Confluence and associated with multiple user groups.

The connector requires Salesforce.com Professional or higher and works with any version of Confluence. The integration does not require additional Salesforce.com seats for those accessing Salesforce data from Confluence.

Note: in order to use the salesforce-reporter and soql-reporter macros, the ServiceRocket Reporting add-on is required.
