Tieke Finnish Information Society Development Centre is a non-profit organization. We use Confluence as our intranet and collaboration tool. ServiceRocket Reporting, Scaffolding and other plugins are a good set of tools to improve our information flow and collaboration with specialists. With this plugins you can pick up the necessary information and show them to right persons. Best thing is that it is not difficult to learn to use them.

I find the Reporting plugin useful for various tasks that would otherwise require a lot of manual entry and upkeep. When used in conjunction with the Scaffolding plugin, tables and lists of data are automatically generated with a wealth of useful, organized information at your fingertips. Whether it involves keeping a list of important topics/issues up-to-date for your team or generating a table of data such as a Server Inventory, the Reporting plugin will allow you to do so with ease. Without the Reporting plugin (and the Scaffolding plugin), a lot more time would be spent doing manual entry of data than is necessary. Anyone using Confluence is likely to have more important matters to attend to - why do something manually when a plugin like this can automate the task so wonderfully?

NatureServe is a non-profit organization that strives to provide a scientific basis for guiding conservation action. We work with a network of more than 80 organizations and over 1,000 conservation professionals to collect and analyze data about the at-risk and threatened plants, animals, and ecological communities of the Western Hemisphere. Together, we consolidate and disseminate information about more than 70,000 species and 7,000 ecosystems. We use Confluence and JIRA to manage the development of custom software projects that help support our conservation work and that of our partners. For years, we have relied upon many of the ServiceRocket plugins to fill gaps in Confluence's core functionality. We have found that the Scaffolding, Reporting, Linking, and Visibility plugins provide a powerful combination that expands the depth and usefulness of Confluence. They provide the glue to bring disparate information together and simplify things for team members that are new to Confluence. In turn, our team members are freed up to focus more on collaboration and less on the mechanics of how to work within Confluence.

Mercy Ships is a non-profit with the largest civilian hospital ship in the world. We use Confluence as our global intranet and collaboration tool. ServiceRocket Reporting provides us the ability to display document information, report on the state of all workflows, and display both the header and footer information in our ad hoc workflow pages. We also use this plugin to create reports of database content for proper administration of certain content.
