    More details

    Add-On allows to define instant columns for issues search results, with no need for admin rights.

    When installed add-ons adds 'Issues - Decode issue fields' menu item. It provides page where you can build your own views for issue search results with expression columns.

    Such views may be added to JIRA dashboard as gadget.

    Expression column consists of two configurable elements, template and expression itself. Template provides endless possibilities for visualising issue field value. Expression is optional.

    Example expression for simple template used by default that defines Cost of issue based on time spent:

    (issue.fields.timespent * (issue.fields.rate || 25) / 3600) | currency

    Please see documentation for more examples, that should be extended on the way.

    Note: this add-on is intended to collect interest on chosen technical approach to solve distinct problem. Looking forward for your feedback in form of reviews, emails or issues as defined at support link.

    Great plugin but need at least an Export feature because you can see stuff but you need to do more stuff with the information, like reports or whatever. With this you can only view results, can't do anything else. But very good!

    Possibility to sort by column would add a great value to plugin

    Hi Alexander, thank you for feedback, I agree, but it's not technically possible at the moment. Because columns are evaluated on client side, but issues are retrieved by parts via REST. So, sorting by columns may be done on the displayed part only. Alternatively, it may be possible to sort issues by actual issue field though. Please create issue at https://bitbucket.org/azhdanov/lambda-plugin/issues if you'd like this to be implemented, and clarify your expectations.
