    The new JQL keywoards are seemlesly integrated with JIRA. They are available in issue search, they can be saved as filters and used in gadgets or for boards.

    JQL Search Extensions lets you find and organise your issues easily. Major features include advanced searching for:

    • UpdatedBy
    • Attachments (count, author, date, extension, name)
    • Subtasks (count, summary, key, priority, issuetype, status, status category)
    • Comments (count, author, created and update date)
    • Versions (archived, opened, released count, release date)
    • Links (count, linked by and links issue, link type, linked issue status, linked status category, linked issue type, priority, project)
    • Epics (bugs in epic, stories in epic, bugs in epic in progress/todo/done, stories in epic in progress/todo/done)
    • JQL keywords can be used in the advanced search with autocompletion, saved as filters and used as gadgets or as filter for JIRA Software boards

    Important: once the add-on is installed all the JIRA issues need to be indexed by our servers - this process takes a while so please be patient. Also make sure permissions are granted to the add-on: Add-on permissions

    Easy to use once it finishes the indexing just after the installation. Available keywords are well documented. Makes my life simpler!

    ***Update - Vendor responded immediately and we got this working. Unlike other add-ons, this one is much simpler to use as it just exposes additional fields in the current search filter. Love it!*** Installed this add-on hoping to utilize it to enhance search capabilities, particularly for linked issues. The "Link" fields did show up in the filter criteria, but the actual values for things like LinkType were not available, so I was unable to use this.

    How does cloud add-on pricing work?

    Cloud pricing is subscription based. You are eligible for support and automatic version updates as long as your subscription is active.

    When your subscription renews each month, your pricing tier for host products and add-ons is automatically adjusted (as necessary) based on the number of users in your instance.

    If you've opted for annual billing for your host product, add-ons are also billed annually. Annual subscriptions for this add-on include a discount (12 months for the price of 10).

    If add-on pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

    How do I determine my cloud pricing tier?

    The cloud add-on tier is set automatically based on the maximum tier of the licensed JIRA applications on your instance. For example, if you have JIRA Software (50 users) and JIRA Service Desk (10 agents) on the same instance, your add-on tier is 50 users.

    Note: While this add-on has features specific to JIRA Service Desk, the add-on is technically available across the whole JIRA instance. Therefore the above guidelines for the license tier still apply.

    Do you offer academic, community, or open-source licenses?

    For server add-ons, purchase and renewal is half-price if you have an academic license for your Atlassian host application. Server add-ons are always free for community and open-source licenses. Cloud add-ons do not have discounted or free licenses.

    Can I extend my free trial?

    For cloud add-ons, you cannot extend your free evaluation period. All cloud add-ons are immediately subscribed by a user, and we provide a free evaluation period. This is a minimum of 30 days and ends on the second billing cycle after you first subscribe to the add-on.

    New JQL extensions: updatedBy, transitionedBy, loggedTimeBy, updatedByUsersCount


    New JQL extensions:

    - updatedBy - search for issues which were updated by a particular user/users

    - transitionedBy - search for issues which were transitioned by a particular user/users

    - loggedTimeBy - search for issues on which particular users reported time

    - updatedByUsersCount - search for issues which were updated by a particular number of users


    1. Log into your JIRA instance as an admin.
    2. Click the admin dropdown and choose Add-ons. The Find new add-ons screen loads.
    3. Locate JQL Search Extensions for JIRA.
    4. Click Free trial to download and install your add-on.
    5. You're all set! Click Close in the Installed and ready to go dialog.
