    I'm incredibly disappointed with Tempo and their latest version of the Timesheets app. I've experienced all of the performance issues and frustrations that everyone else has described below. I'm absolutely stunned at their decision to strip out the team planning features, in what can only be described as a blatant effort to push existing customers towards their other product, Tempo Planner. Their attempt at a concession is to offer their existing customers an extended free trial to regain features they were already paying for! It's laughable really. For what it's worth, I probably would have scored them 3/4 before this fiasco.

    The new version is a disaster! I have spent three whole days trying to correct lost data and functionality, but without luck. Good funktions are allso gone. Many billable houers are now lost due to bugs and glitches, so I had to uninstall, with even more lost billable houers. Cost us many a dollars...

    The new version is a clear example of substitution of essence with gimmicks. The core functionality - maintaining accurate and up-to-date state of time tracking fields from smart commits periodically gets broken, then fixed, then broken again. It used to work flawlessly, but now it is not reliable at all. We had a couple of cases of double charges at the time of version switch, but this particular problem is fixed now (or FOR now?). Sometimes it takes tempo many hours to update time tracking and timesheets, though commits themselves appearing in JIRA worklogs almost instantly. The random delays of timesheet updates and at the end of payment cycle in our workflow means potential loss of revenue. So I'm watching every chargeable work item like a hawk. Which actually defeats the purpose of using Tempo. It's supposed to simplify time accounting, isn't it?

    The new version is surely one of slowest experiences I've ever had with JIRA Plugins. In Task views, the Logs take ages to load (if ever) and working with reports has become a cumbersome and time consuming experience. Some of the issues (just to name a few) - E.x.t.r.e.m.e.l.y slow. Sometimes I'm happy when the the plugin even loads. - (German) translations are missing all over the place, for example from the top navigation menu - User Timesheets and the view thereof always revert back to some default state on every page load and do not keep selected filter settings (for example timesheets are not sorted by projects any more, I have to select that every time I open Reports) One additional star because the new design looks nice. But the overall user experience is far off, sorry to say so.

    The new version is not usable, the best feature (the sticky tracker) has been removed. So we will look for some other solution ...

    Thanks for leaving your review regarding Tempo Timesheets, we always appreciate customer feedback.

    Looking at your account, I can see that we answered your ticket, but as of yet we have not had a reply from you.

    In the new version Tempo Timesheets for JIRA Cloud the tracker is no longer available in the JIRA UI (this is related to some technical restriction from the new Atlassian framework). You can now start a tracker from the issue view, an agile board when an issue is selected, as well as from the Tempo Trackers gadget, where you can have multiple trackers running simultaneously. Here is more information: https://support.tempo.io/hc/en-us/articles/234979828. We are also working on a Chrome integration to help replace the functionality lost. The implementation of this feature is a priority for us.

    How does cloud add-on pricing work?

    Cloud pricing is subscription based. You are eligible for support and automatic version updates as long as your subscription is active.

    When your subscription renews each month, your pricing tier for host products and add-ons is automatically adjusted (as necessary) based on the number of users in your instance.

    If you've opted for annual billing for your host product, add-ons are also billed annually. Annual subscriptions for this add-on include a discount (12 months for the price of 10).

    If add-on pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

    How do I determine my cloud pricing tier?

    The cloud add-on tier is set automatically based on the maximum tier of the licensed JIRA applications on your instance. For example, if you have JIRA Software (50 users) and JIRA Service Desk (10 agents) on the same instance, your add-on tier is 50 users.

    Note: While this add-on has features specific to JIRA Service Desk, the add-on is technically available across the whole JIRA instance. Therefore the above guidelines for the license tier still apply.

    Do you offer academic, community, or open-source licenses?

    • Purchase the add-on at the non-legacy Unlimited (10000+ users) tier.
    • Renew your JIRA or Confluence license at a non-legacy tier, then purchase the add-on at the same tier.

    The Tempo team announces the release of Tempo Timesheets 8.2.5 that contains some fixes.

    Installation

    1. Log into your JIRA instance as an admin.
    2. Click the admin dropdown and choose Atlassian Marketplace. The Manage add-ons screen loads.
    3. Click Find new add-ons from the left-hand side of the page.
    4. Locate Tempo Timesheets for JIRA via search. The appropriate add-on version appears in the search results.
    5. Click Try free to begin a new trial or Buy now to purchase a license for Tempo Timesheets for JIRA. You're prompted to log into MyAtlassian. Tempo Timesheets for JIRA begins to download.
    6. Enter your information and click Generate license when redirected to MyAtlassian.
    7. Click Apply license. If you're using an older version of UPM, you can copy and paste the license into your JIRA instance.

    To find older Tempo Timesheets for JIRA versions compatible with your instance, you can look through our version history page.

    1. Log into your JIRA instance as an admin.
    2. Click the admin dropdown and choose Add-ons. The Find new add-ons screen loads.
