    Large charts are crashing the browsers, previous updates froze company's work. The latest update when the dates moved in 20 years gave us a pain as we had to rebuild all of the plans we had. The next one, when you introduced new features (auto, manual, lock) broke all the locked tasks we already had with the previous functionality and we had to rebuild them again. Now, we cannot do almost anything with this add-on as we are experiencing a major issue: - large charts are crashing the browsers (have around 400 tasks) - middle charts take 5-10 seconds to process each movement (have up to 100) Have you ever tested you add-on on performance? Because unfortunately you have none. Do you ever test your builds on DB changes? Because we were losing the information with new features and your architectural restructures. Playing with it on small projects and a little amount of tasks was fun, but when it comes to a serious work on large project that take from 6 months to develop, this add-on is no use. We were forced to use it as there is no alternative on the market but now we are thinking about going back to external tools as even this manual work takes less time than dealing with the add-on issues constantly. PS. In case you think this is a hardware problem, this is not. We have NO issues with hardware as we have powerful dedicated servers and our PMs are working on Mac Book Pro pros (custom powerful configurations). PPS. I was trying to leave a feedback on the company's support site but simply couldn't. After filling out a form and trying to submit it I was thrown an error "Reporter field is required" when this field was hidden from the screen.

    Sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with our plugin. We do test it under challenging conditions (60 000 tasks) but occasionally some circumstances cause major browser issues. Trying to leave feedback couldn't have happened at a worse time as our Service Desk was not working yesterday.     Unusable. Asks for User Browse permission. Checked their Jira, found a workaround. Created a group special for the BigGantt, gave the group Browse User permission. Still gives error. Gave the group administrator permission. Error continues. This is not a way to win new customers.

    Hi, When creating a new program, in the scope data section, no filter can be selected it stays blank so we cannot use the plugin at all. Is there someone who can tell us when this is going to be fixed? Thank you

    Hi Fabrice,

    Actually, and unfortunately, this is a normal functionality. Due Atlassian's technical restrictions, a filter used to create Gantt must be shared with logged-in users. You can check filter status in Filters configuration (go to Issues menu, click on 'Manage filters', search for your filter, click on its details and verify permissions). Also, URL of that page will bring you filter ID needed to create Gantt (https://your-instance.atlassian.net/browse/filtername?filter=FILTERID - you have to copy bolded excerpt and paste into BigGantt). If the properly configured filter is still unavailable, you should wait a few minutes (5 at most) and try again.This procedure is caused due to JIRA API restrictions - we're looking for updates to make this process as easy as it can be.

    How does cloud add-on pricing work?

    Cloud pricing is subscription based. You are eligible for support and automatic version updates as long as your subscription is active.

    When your subscription renews each month, your pricing tier for host products and add-ons is automatically adjusted (as necessary) based on the number of users in your instance.

    If you've opted for annual billing for your host product, add-ons are also billed annually. Annual subscriptions for this add-on include a discount (12 months for the price of 10).

    If add-on pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

    How do I determine my cloud pricing tier?

    The cloud add-on tier is set automatically based on the maximum tier of the licensed JIRA applications on your instance. For example, if you have JIRA Software (50 users) and JIRA Service Desk (10 agents) on the same instance, your add-on tier is 50 users.

    Note: While this add-on has features specific to JIRA Service Desk, the add-on is technically available across the whole JIRA instance. Therefore the above guidelines for the license tier still apply.

    Do you offer academic, community, or open-source licenses?

    • Purchase the add-on at the non-legacy Unlimited (10000+ users) tier.

    Installation

    1. Log into your JIRA instance as an admin.
    2. Click the admin dropdown and choose Atlassian Marketplace. The Manage add-ons screen loads.
    3. Click Find new add-ons from the left-hand side of the page.
    4. Locate BigGantt via search. The appropriate add-on version appears in the search results.
    5. Click Try free to begin a new trial or Buy now to purchase a license for BigGantt. You're prompted to log into MyAtlassian. BigGantt begins to download.
    6. Enter your information and click Generate license when redirected to MyAtlassian.
    7. Click Apply license. If you're using an older version of UPM, you can copy and paste the license into your JIRA instance.

    To find older BigGantt versions compatible with your instance, you can look through our version history page.

    1. Log into your JIRA instance as an admin.
    2. Click the admin dropdown and choose Add-ons. The Find new add-ons screen loads.
    3. Locate BigGantt.
    4. Click Free trial to download and install your add-on.
