Manage and communicate technology adoption for your organization through your own TechRadar

Manage and communicate technology adoption for your organization through your own TechRadar

    Visualize your thoughts

    Track technologies over time

    Flexible radar management

Following the ideas of Neil Ford or likewise the well accepted Thoughtworks Technology Radar this plugin gives you the means of a radar to visualize, categorize and reflect on technologies, trends and hypes.

It's important that a user is easily able to determine whether a topic is growing or is it shrinking in terms of relevance. The radar gives you the possibility to track a spots way through (its history at) the radar.

Manage as much radar-instances as you like - customize their representation in terms of topic (they don't have to be technology related), size or color.

Hello it-economics GmbH, I had to install your Plugin on the 30 day Server Trial-Version from Atlassian, because our company confluence has a higher version than 6.2.4 and our IT doesn't committ to an unsupported Plugin (at the moment). I could find your plugin using Installation worked well, users are authorized, I can enter data into a new created Radar (Manage TechRadar => Add New), BUT after clicking on "Save", the data are lost and no Radar is selectable in the "Tech-Radar Management Console". Is it possible, that the Plugin needs somehow special settings or is it not running on 6.2.4 in with a trial-license-key? Kind regards, Dietmar

Hello it-economics GmbH! This plugin looks very nice and useful, but we'd like to enhance it a bit (add some custom description fields, labels, add confluence macros support). How can we contribute to the development? Is that an open-sourced project? What's the license under which you provide this add-on (are we allowed to modify it for our internal use)? PS: thx for the cool plugin!

I've been evaluating this plugin and it is very cool, but does have some undesirable "features". Are there any plans to fix these? * If a user is not logged in, they can still see the TechRadar Option at the top of the screen. If that user clicks that option, it throws a very ugly stack trace error. Why not redirect the user to the login screen? * If a user has access to create/edit a TechRadar it appears they can edit any of the TechRadars available in the System. Are there any plans to implement permissions on the individual TechRadars? * Is this plugin compatible with Confluence Data Center? thanks much!

Hello Mr. Brotzer, I have got an administration problem: - Despite the configuration of the user permissions, the added users do not see the option "Manage TechRadar" in their user interface. Do you know this Problem? Best regards

    Hi Mr. Stelberg,

yes you don't see the "Manage TechRadar" Option in your user panel (The one in the top right corner), like you see when you are admin. Still you can access the management of the TechRadar through the menu item in JIRA's header, same way as you'd access the TechRader as regular user. If you have the privilege to access the radar there will be the option "Manage Radar".

I guess we'll delete the entry in the user panel soon, so that it won't disturb no admin anymore.

    Kind regards,

    David

Hello team, I installed your plugin in Atlassian and found out that there doesn't exist any import routines. That means that you have to maintain the data manually. You have to maintain the data for example in excel and then you have to transfer the data in your software. Do you have any solution for that? Kind regards, Uwe
