Obtain and keep an overview in your lists by categorizing your Bitbucket projects and repositories

    Obtain overview

    Categorize projects and repositories

    Easy filtering

The overview is created by clustering your existing projects and repositories by categories. This helps you to quickly find the desired project or repository in your lists.

Add one or more categories for each project and repository. Use autocomplete to find and select already used categories.

Quickly search the current category for projects or repositories.

    More details

Working with Bitbucket easily leads to a large amount of data of which the user may loose track.

To solve this problem, Communardo has developed the add-on Categories for Bitbucket.

Now one or more categories can be assigned to projects and repositories. By filtering these categories, users of the add-ons find relevant projects and repositories more rapidly than before.

Your benefits with Categories for Bitbucket:

    • obtain an overview of projects and repositories
    • easier filtering of projects and repositories
    • save time when looking for projects and repositories
    • structured information for efficient team work

It's a wonder plugin. Could you develop a similar plugin to category repository? Stash only has 2 level structure(project and repository). If there are many repositories in one project , it's hard to classify them. Our case is we have multiple team work on one stash project. every team have multiple repositories. Although we could add team name as repository name prefix, It's ugly. If there is a repository level category plugin, it's very helpful. This feature is very similar to project category feature, but focus on repository level. That's means, customized repository category names must be property of one stash project, It's unshared to other stash project . some ideas as below: 1.add a categories field on repository settings page 2.add a category list menu on stash repository list page. Thank you for your response! Do you have a schedule to implement it? Best Regards, Fei Wang

Hello, This is indeed a helpful plugin that I think could benefit our development teams at my organisation. I have been running the evaluation for one day now and my only criticism is also as per Ryan Brown's comment below: the auto-correction of categories is pretty irritating. Can I vote up this RFC - https://jira.communardo.de/browse/SPC-55 please? I would prefer categories to be as they are typed (WYSIWYG) by the user. Philip

It seems to work. However, once enabled, I cannot toggle a "Favorite" setting for a project. Stash version 2.12.1 and Safari 7.0.3

Very helpful to be able to categorize our projects by department... however many of our groups use an all-caps initialization/abbreviation as their identifier which winds up looking awkward. Any chance the plugin could be modified to support categories in all-caps, rather than changing everything to lowercase and only capitalizing the first letter?

    Ryan,

Thanks for your feedback. The "First-Letter-Upper-Case-And-The-Rest-Lower-Case"-thingy is something we have mimiced from other Atlassain products (I think Jira in particular) where "cagtegories" have such a behaviour. But we will think about this (https://jira.communardo.de/browse/SPC-55).

Really helpful to be able to categorise our Stash projects - makes things infinitely easier to find and view, a great addition! Thanks!

    Pricing

    Pricing details are loading…

    Paid-via-Atlassian pricing FAQ

How does server add-on pricing work?

Server products and add-ons are hosted on your servers. Licenses are perpetual and the purchase price include 12 months of maintenance (support and version updates).

You can renew maintenance after 12 months at 50% of the current purchase price. You can upgrade the tier of your host product and add-on licenses at any time. Upgrade prices are calculated based on Atlassian's formula (view example).

If add-on pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

How do I determine my server pricing tier?

The add-on tier should match the licensed user tier of the Atlassian host application. For example, if you have a Confluence Server license for 25 users, you should purchase the 25-user tier for add-ons. Even if fewer users want to use the add-on than your host application license, the two licenses should match exactly.

Do you offer academic, community, or open-source licenses?

For server add-ons, purchase and renewal is half-price if you have an academic license for your Atlassian host application. Server add-ons are always free for community and open-source licenses. Cloud add-ons do not have discounted or free licenses.

For more details about qualifying for special licenses, see here.

Can I extend my free trial?

For server add-ons, you can extend your add-on trial up to 5 times - in other words, for up to six months. Extend your trial by generating a new evaluation license key from Atlassian Marketplace. Click Try it free and you'll be directed to generate a new license. Paste this license key into the add-on listing in UPM from your Atlassian host application, and you're all set.

How can I buy add-ons for my legacy JIRA Server or Confluence Server license?

If you own a legacy JIRA Server Unlimited (100+ users) or Confluence Server Unlimited (2000+ users) license purchased in 2012 or earlier, legacy add-on pricing is no longer available. You have two options for add-on purchasing:

    • Purchase the add-on at the non-legacy Unlimited (10000+ users) tier.
    • Renew your JIRA or Confluence license at a non-legacy tier, then purchase the add-on at the same tier.
