    What is supported?

    • Link recognition of the following Github public and private items: Repositories, Pull requests (PRs), branches, source files, user or organization profiles, issues, Github pages and gists.
    • Public and private Github resources.
    • You can Copy and Paste a link to a Github source file or Gist and keep it expanded by default.
    • Easily connect your Github account and our Add-on using Oauth.
    • Github Enterprise support is in progress.
    • Do you have JIRA Server - let us know!

    How to get started?

    • Install the add-on.
    • You just need to Copy&Paste a Github link into the Confluence page. The link then gets recognized by Confluence as a Github resource. (Or you can start typing "{github-link-macro" and the macros will be inserted that will trigger a dialog where you will be able to input the link to a resource from Github).
    • Save the page and enjoy the amount of additional information you can see now.

    I like about this add-on that it recognizes Github links automatically and brings handy information to our specs. It works with private repos.

    1. Log into your Confluence instance as an admin.
    2. Click the admin dropdown and choose Add-ons. The Find new add-ons screen loads.
    3. Locate Github Links for Confluence.
    4. Click Install to download and install your add-on.
    5. You're all set! Click Close in the Installed and ready to go dialog.
