zAgile's open source Wikidsmart platform can integrate any software engineering tool as well as applications like CRM and Help Desk. Wikidsmart delivers maximum interoperability, traceability, reporting, and search for content among any tools and applications. In addition, Wikidsmart Solutions leverage JIRA's workflow capabilites and add structured wiki templates for software engineering to Confluence, turning the combined environment into a powerful composite application platform. 

Wikidsmart includes the following components: 

  • Plug-ins for JIRA, Confluence, Selenium, FishEye, Salesforce.com, Jenkins, and Zendesk. You can choose to use only the ones you want.
  • Confluence wiki templates for Requirements Management and Test Management. You can customize these or create new ones. The templates are optional, i.e., you can use Wikidsmart to integrate JIRA and Salesforce.com without the wiki involved. 
  • Wikidsmart Context Server: the hub for interchange of content amongst tools and applications. It enables maximum interoperability, traceability, and federated content search amongst all application content.
  • Reports and dashboards to cover the lifecycle of software delivery as well as concepts that cover multiple tools and applications
  • Portal / portlets are optionally available

The connector, platform, and applications are open source. You can choose only the connectors you require to integrate the tools you require.

Wikidsmart Solutions include the following:

  • Wikidsmart PM: Requirements Management within Confluence, integrated with JIRA
  • Wikidsmart QA: Test Case Management within Confluence and Test Automation. Integrates Confluence, JIRA, and Selenium.
  • Wikidsmart ALM: all features of PM and QA plus integration with FisheEye and Jenkins
  • Wikidsmart CRM: Bi-directional integration of all content (including Comments, Attachments) between Salesforce, JIRA, and Confluence

- Confluence 5 Support 

Support for inline rich text mode in the semantic templates-based forms. Rich text documents and images may now be embedded within text blocks of the smart forms to enrich the form content. Leveraging the new Confluence 'Create' button, templates pages may also be created via this UI by specifying the template and page title. In addition, there are also a number of enhancements and new macros to render images and rich-text content in semantic tables that integrate data from various applications and provide a unified view in Confluence pages.

- JIRA 6 Support 

Supports for JIRA 6 and its integration with Confluence and Salesforce. This integration allows for the remote creation and update of JIRA issues from external applications.

- Salesforce Attachments 

Deep integration and interoperability between Salesforce, Confluence and JIRA, including support for Salesforce Attachments which can be easily pushed into related JIRA issues.

- Confluence Charts 

Powerful interactive charts in Confluence that are driven by either SPARQL queries or embedded data tables. Improved Semantic Search Significantly improved Semantic Search with support for pagination. It can also be embedded as a macro into any page for any specific concept and properties. For example, you can have search on the home page of your Requirements section to search for requirements with specific set of attributes.

- JIRA Semantic Properties 

Semantic Properties for an issue now may be included in the JIRA Issue screen via a custom field. This allows for the display on the issue screens of related data from other applications

- Improved Indexing Performance 

The performance of the semantic search indexer has been significantly improved to support large data volumes.

- Confluence Page Caching 

Page-level caching to reduce refreshes for pages with complex queries where information does not change often. The cache macro can now prevent query execution unless otherwise requested via a refresh or a refresh is scheduled via batch processing.


Installation

  1. Log into your Atlassian application instance as an admin.
  2. Click the admin dropdown and choose Add-ons. The Manage add-ons screen loads.
  3. Click Find new add-ons from the left-hand side of the page.
  4. Locate Wikidsmart (Requirements & Test Case Management; Search; Dashboard; Reporting; Interoperability / Integration / Integrate Salesforce Zendesk Selenium Hudson / Jenkins Subversion Git & More) via search. Results include add-on versions compatible with your Atlassian application instance.
  5. Click Install to download and install your add-on. If your add-on cannot be installed directly into your application, you may be prompted to download.
  6. You're all set! Click Close in the Installed and ready to go dialog.
