Like the reviewer below me, we installed this plugin so we could see recent checkins and have them associated with their respective tickets, and this works like a champ. We absolutely paid the very fair license fee. Thanks!

We were looking for something to show commits in our Jira instance, and this product was the right price and did exactly what we wanted for the right price! We evaluated this for 30 days, and when our trial expired, we absolutely missed it and immediately paid for our license.

Thanks for the quickly acting on providing MR link in JIRA. We really appreciate the quick response. One more enhancement with respect to MR: I am wondering, if it is possible to add a tab called MR, similar to GIT Commit & GIT Roll Up. This will help us to see MR discussion directly on JIRA, instead of logging in and going through GitLab. Another advantage of this functionality is that, if there are open points as part of MR discussion, we can create a JIRA ticket directly. Regards, Nagaraj

    Nagaraj -

We absolutely agree that our JIRA Cloud add-on can do more. The GitLab feature you mention is already in our backlog and should be released for development in the next week or so (we have had many requests for this feature in the past few weeks). Regarding the notifications - we're actively working on this now. I will let you know when these features are available. Based on the feedback on Cloud - we'll look at rolling these features into JIRA Server.

Relates to Version 2.10.1: A good addon, but due to having 44 Git-repositories with every repository containing many branches, we are not very happy with the recent changes on the git-rollup tab on the stories. We love the branch-compare feature (especially to get a list of effected stories, which you cannot get in a plain git-compare), but in our opinion that feature should remain in the global repository-area and not be on the stories rollup. Our change suggestions for the git-rollup tab in the stories: * Remove the branch comparison from the story-activity rollup and keep that cool feature in the global repository area * Keep the repository dropdown-list, but restrict the list items to the story-related repositories Reason: Our stories often have checkins in 2 repositories, but the repository-dropdown list "randomly" shows 10 out of 44 repositories, which are not related in any way to the story

Thank you for this feedback. The change to the Git Roll Up tab in recent versions was significant and we're committed to getting the right user experience. What you are seeing with so many unrelated git repositories is less than useful. We agree. We'll have that changed in a forthcoming release.

I would love to follow up with you on some specifics - I have sent you an email to follow up.

    Thanks!

This plugin is absolutely amazing. Does not integrate with a single service, but is usable with practically any Git hosting. The official JIRA-BitBucket integration is much more useless compared to this plugin.

Thank you Tamas. Just wanted to mention - the Cloud add-on does have special integration with GitLab (.com + CE/EE), GitHub (.com, hosted), AWS CodeCommit and soon BitBucket (we'll be sending out notifications soon). The Server add-on currently has a special integration with GitLab (.com + CE/EE). (But all git repositories/services are support) Cheers!

    Paid-via-Atlassian pricing FAQ

How does cloud add-on pricing work?

Cloud pricing is subscription based. You are eligible for support and automatic version updates as long as your subscription is active.

When your subscription renews each month, your pricing tier for host products and add-ons is automatically adjusted (as necessary) based on the number of users in your instance.

If you've opted for annual billing for your host product, add-ons are also billed annually. Annual subscriptions for this add-on include a discount (12 months for the price of 10).

If add-on pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

How do I determine my cloud pricing tier?

The cloud add-on tier is set automatically based on the maximum tier of the licensed JIRA applications on your instance. For example, if you have JIRA Software (50 users) and JIRA Service Desk (10 agents) on the same instance, your add-on tier is 50 users.

Note: While this add-on has features specific to JIRA Service Desk, the add-on is technically available across the whole JIRA instance. Therefore the above guidelines for the license tier still apply.

Do you offer academic, community, or open-source licenses?

For server add-ons, purchase and renewal is half-price if you have an academic license for your Atlassian host application. Server add-ons are always free for community and open-source licenses. Cloud add-ons do not have discounted or free licenses.

For more details about qualifying for special licenses, see here.

Can I extend my free trial?

For cloud add-ons, you cannot extend your free evaluation period. All cloud add-ons are immediately subscribed by a user, and we provide a free evaluation period. This is a minimum of 30 days and ends on the second billing cycle after you first subscribe to the add-on.

    Paid-via-Atlassian pricing FAQ

How does server add-on pricing work?

Server products and add-ons are hosted on your servers. Licenses are perpetual and the purchase price include 12 months of maintenance (support and version updates).

You can renew maintenance after 12 months at 50% of the current purchase price. You can upgrade the tier of your host product and add-on licenses at any time. Upgrade prices are calculated based on Atlassian's formula (view example).

If add-on pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

How do I determine my server pricing tier?

For JIRA Server 7.0 or later, the add-on tier should match the maximum tier of the licensed JIRA applications on your instance. For example, if you're running JIRA Software (50 users) and JIRA Service Desk (10 agents) on the same instance, you should purchase the 50-user tier for add-ons.

For versions of JIRA Server prior to 7.0, the add-on tier should match the licensed user tier for JIRA. Even if fewer users want to use the add-on than your JIRA license, the two licenses should match exactly.

For server add-ons, you can extend your add-on trial up to 5 times - in other words, for up to six months. Extend your trial by generating a new evaluation license key from Atlassian Marketplace. Click Try it free and you'll be directed to generate a new license. Paste this license key into the add-on listing in UPM from your Atlassian host application, and you're all set.

How can I buy add-ons for my legacy JIRA Server or Confluence Server license?

If you own a legacy JIRA Server Unlimited (100+ users) or Confluence Server Unlimited (2000+ users) license purchased in 2012 or earlier, legacy add-on pricing is no longer available. You have two options for add-on purchasing:

    • Purchase the add-on at the non-legacy Unlimited (10000+ users) tier.
    • Renew your JIRA or Confluence license at a non-legacy tier, then purchase the add-on at the same tier.
