    More details

A lot of users forget to check the "notify watchers" checkbox when saving a page, even if they want notifications to be sent. If you want your users to make the decision consciously, you can do so with this plugin.

    • An additional button is added "Save & Notify". When this button is clicked, the page is saved an notifications are sent
    • When the original "Save" button is clicked, no notifications are sent

Very helpful to set a baseline for notifications.

I wish that the use of this button was evident on the page history. I.e. a small icon on the page history, indicating whether notifications were sent, would be helpful.

A very simple and elegant solution to help reduce the flood of notification emails from Confluence. Many of our users don't actively manage their notification settings so, a little tweak to the author and editor save choices helps mitigate how many notifications go out in the first place. Just lovely.

Straight forward, easier to you for most people I am dealing with than the checkbox to the left... seems more obvious and most users tend to not press the *Save & Notify* --> less Emails are send, those sent are usually thought through notifications ;o) Thanks for creating this - and thanks for making this painless since its free... I am not the only one for sure who is happy not coming into the situation to explain why 'a button' costs, even though it would be worth a some money!
