## Include latex math expressions in Confluence seamlessly

### Editing equations is easy!

Inline equations will be displayed seamlessly in the surrounding text. Block equations will displayed prominently with optional (automatically incrementing) numbering.

Easily refer the reader to numbered equations on the same page or other pages with a link displaying the corresponding equation number.

Easily use LaTeX formatting on your Confluence pages. Your LaTeX will be rendered instantly as PNG images. This also means that they will be included in exported PDFs.

Add equations, units, and more to your Confluence pages. Intuitively add LaTeX representations of complex formula that will be rendered properly.

Inline equations are will be rendered in the placeholder in the Confluence editor to make editing pages easier. Inline equations will be correctly vertically aligned with the surrounding text.

Previews will also be automatically rendered while editing for instant feedback!

Note: The Cloud version of this addon does not include the non-mathmode latex macro and is limited to PNG rendering mode. Please contact TenSixTwo if those functions are important for your organization.

I have been using Math Lite for some time now. It integrates seamlessly with my other work. For my technical documentation, I am employing Maxima CAS - which produces LaTex output and which I am copying directly into Math Lite. That works great. Also I appreciate the support provided. Jason - your responsiveness and solution-oriented approach is very much appreciated.

Using LaTeX in some of my scripts, I found it helpful to have it also available in Confluence. In my lectures, I use a wiki (Confluence) to let the students write in groups their exercise results into the system that they get used to it and get the experience of a wiki system. Adding LaTeX seems still let's say a challenge due to the complexity of the syntax of LaTeX, but we will see what time brings.

Great Plugin and awesome support – from all the math-code-plugins available for confluence you really should get this one!

We use the macro for rendering mathematical equations in our public software documentation. LaTeX is the tool of choice if you need to render a little bit more than just a greek letter. With this macro it is really easy to integrate formulas in confluence pages. Having a PNG renderer for PDF export and a more interactive renderer based on MathJax for the actual web page is a really nice split. And on top: the support by the developer is really excellent.

Really well implemented equation rendering macro. I use this macro every day and love how crisply the MathJax equations come out as opposed to simply attaching rastered latex images. Developer is super responsive as well!

Very useful product. Glad that the author of this plugin found time to write it.

### Paid-via-Atlassian pricing FAQ

How does cloud app pricing work?

Cloud pricing is subscription based. You are eligible for support and automatic version updates as long as your subscription is active.

When your subscription renews each month, you are automatically billed for host products and apps based on the number of users in your instance.

If app pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

How do I determine my cloud pricing?

Apps are billed based on the number of users in your host product. Confluence Cloud apps are priced based on the number of Confluence users on your instance. For example, if you have Confluence Cloud (25 users), you pay the 25-user price for apps.

The pricing structure for cloud products and apps is as follows:

• Monthly subscriptions with up to 10 host product users are billed at a flat rate price.
• Monthly subscriptions with more than 10 users are billed per user, starting at the first user.
• Monthly subscriptions with more than 100 users are billed per user. The table above provides example pricing at various user levels.
• If per-user pricing is not yet available for this app, please contact the vendor for further information.

If you've opted for annual billing for your host product, apps are also billed annually at a discount (12 months for the price of 10).

Academic, community and open source licenses are not available for cloud apps.

Can I extend my free trial?

For cloud apps, you cannot extend your free evaluation period. All cloud apps are immediately subscribed by a user, and we provide a free evaluation period. This is a minimum of 30 days and ends on the second billing cycle after you first subscribe to the app.

### Paid-via-Atlassian pricing FAQ

How does server app pricing work?

Server products and apps are hosted on your servers. Licenses are perpetual and the purchase price include 12 months of maintenance (support and version updates).

You can renew maintenance after 12 months at 50% of the current purchase price. You can upgrade the tier of your host product and app licenses at any time. Upgrade prices are calculated based on Atlassian's formula (view example).

If app pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

How do I determine my server pricing?

Apps are billed based on the number of users in your host product. The app tier should match the licensed user tier of the Atlassian host product. For example, if you have a Confluence Server license for 25 users, you should purchase the 25-user tier for apps. Even if fewer users want to use the app than your host product license, the two licenses should match exactly.

For server apps, purchase and renewal is half-price if you have an academic license for your Atlassian host product. Server apps are always free for community and open-source licenses.

Can I extend my free trial?

For server apps, you can extend your app trial up to 5 times - in other words, for up to six months. Extend your trial by generating a new evaluation license key from Atlassian Marketplace. Click Try it free and you'll be directed to generate a new license. Paste this license key into the app listing in UPM from your Atlassian host product, and you're all set.

How can I buy apps for my legacy Jira Server or Confluence Server license?

If you own a legacy Jira Server Unlimited (100+ users) or Confluence Server Unlimited (2000+ users) license purchased in 2012 or earlier, legacy app pricing is no longer available. You have two options for app purchasing:

• Purchase the app at the non-legacy Unlimited (10000+ users) tier.
• Renew your Jira or Confluence license at a non-legacy tier, then purchase the app at the same tier.
