    I haven't embraced the photo updates as I've found them to take more time than just manually updating the board from a mobile browser on my phone. That said, it is a cool feature. For me, the real value is printing of cards to give us an easy to maintain physical board, which Agile Cards excels at. The flexible layout gives me a lot of latitude to present information in a way that makes sense to my audience. On top of that, Spartez has been an incredibly responsive vendor.

    I love the idea - it greatly helps improving collaboration between distributed teams. However it comes across as sloppy in few places, especially the UI, and .... ... when I scan my board on my iPhone 6 the page crashes and that's a bummer

    Would you be able to contact us at support@spartez.com and describe what you are finding "sloppy" in some more detail? Perhaps with some screenshots? And also, could you send us the photo of the board which you are trying to scan using iPhone? We would like to understand why teh page crashes for you - it should not do that.

    Latest version of the plugin (with new editor) is a massive improvement. This plugin is well liked and widely used within our organisation and the vendor is extremely responsive and helpful with support issues and bugs

    The plugin sounds interessting. One issue we have is that it seems that only a JIRA administrator can configure the templates. Is this true? Since we have different departments for administration and using the software it would be difficult if for every change in the layout the project teams must talk to the JIRA administration. So there is no way a project can configure its own templates?

    It is not the case that only JIRA admins can configure templates. Project administrators can also do that. Which means that your project teams can configure templates fort themselves, as long as somebody on the team is a project admin

    How does cloud add-on pricing work?

    Cloud products and add-ons are hosted by Atlassian. You are eligible for support and automatic version updates as long as your subscription is active.

    Your subscription automatically renews every month. Annual pricing is also available. Your pricing tier for host products and add-ons is automatically upgraded (as necessary) when you add users to your instance.

    If add-on pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

    How do I determine my cloud pricing tier?

    The cloud add-on tier is set automatically based on the maximum tier of the licensed JIRA applications on your instance. For example, if you have JIRA Software (50 users) and JIRA Service Desk (10 agents) on the same instance, your add-on tier is 50 users.

    Do you offer academic, community, or open-source licenses?

    For server add-ons, purchase and renewal is half-price if you have an academic license for your Atlassian host application. Server add-ons are always free for community and open-source licenses. Cloud add-ons do not have discounted or free licenses.

    How does server add-on pricing work?

    Server products and add-ons are hosted on your servers. Licenses are perpetual and the purchase price include 12 months of maintenance (support and version updates).

    If you own a legacy JIRA Server Unlimited (100+ users) or Confluence Server Unlimited (2000+ users) license purchased in 2012 or earlier, legacy add-on pricing is no longer available. You have two options for add-on purchasing:

    • Purchase the add-on at the non-legacy Unlimited (10000+ users) tier.
    • Renew your JIRA or Confluence license at a non-legacy tier, then purchase the add-on at the same tier.

    Installation

    1. Log into your JIRA instance as an admin.
    2. Click the admin dropdown and choose Atlassian Marketplace. The Manage add-ons screen loads.
    3. Click Find new add-ons from the left-hand side of the page.
    4. Locate Agile Cards for JIRA via search. The appropriate add-on version appears in the search results.
    5. Click Try free to begin a new trial or Buy now to purchase a license for Agile Cards for JIRA. You're prompted to log into MyAtlassian. Agile Cards for JIRA begins to download.
    6. Enter your information and click Generate license when redirected to MyAtlassian.
    7. Click Apply license. If you're using an older version of UPM, you can copy and paste the license into your JIRA instance.

    To find older Agile Cards for JIRA versions compatible with your instance, you can look through our version history page.

    1. Log into your JIRA instance as an admin.
    2. Click the admin dropdown and choose Add-ons. The Find new add-ons screen loads.
    3. Locate Agile Cards for JIRA.
    4. Click Free trial to download and install your add-on.
    5. You're all set! Click Close in the Installed and ready to go dialog.
