Skill Finder add-on provides a platform for Enterprise-wide talent management. By encouraging employees to share their skills in Confluence profiles, give endorsements to each other, send and accept requests for help or advise in particular areas, Skill Finder add-on thus implements crowd-populated skills management database for a whole Company.
Major features include:
- Skill Search macro to quickly find experts by their skills

Once you have added skills:
- Your co-workers can endorse you for those skills, and, if you share your skills, request that you provide them with help on your skills. Naturally, you can endorse skills of other people too and request help related to their skills as well.
- You will appear in the search results when someone searches for people with particular skills, and you happen to have them.
Receiving/giving endorsements for skills in fact means receiving/giving recognition of a person’s expertise, whereas providing/receiving help associated with skills is a quick and convenient way to exchange knowledge in an organization.
