Go Beyond Wireframes. Use ProtoShare to rapidly create, edit and view INTERACTIVE MOCKUPS within Confluence pages

Fast & Easy to Use

Create Engagement & Understanding

Add Interactivity

Drag and drop items from your computer or the wireframe stencils library onto your canvas. Embed fully functioning interactive mockups in your Confluence pages.

Engagement produces understanding. Mockups enhance engagement. Higher-fidelity mockups (rather than sketches) allow your stakeholders to really understand what you're proposing.

Go beyond sketches by creating simple to complex interactions like pop-ups, light boxes, carousels, tabbed panels, mobile animations and much more.

I'm new to ProtoShare, but mind was blown as to how easy it is to create prototypes. This looks like it will save my team hours of labor, even compared to other mockup tools that I always considered to be excellent.

I have used various mockup tools in the past for Confluence and JIRA. All of them felt limited in terms of only being able to build rough wireframes and mockups. With Protoshare I was blown away by the ability to create high fidelity and interactive mockups. Protoshare creates a very realistic way of communicating requirements with developers and interpretation of requirements with stake holders in a very visual manner since it even goes as far as adding interactions like animated transitions. It is also a killer tool for web site changes since using the live view feature.

The good part: Amazing product, the way that we can do prototypes have improved our productivity The bad part: It has a terrible integration with confluence. You can't save, you must "save and close", meaning that if saving process fails, you lost your work. Also if you accidentally delete the macro in edit mode, you can't start editing again the file. The only option is "create new", and there is no way to edit again the file.

Vendor response

Thanks for the feedback Julian. We just revisited both of the issues you mentioned, and have to say, you're right. We're going to add a 'Save and Continue' type function, and we're also going to look at a way to use an existing attachment as an inserted ProtoShare design. I'll let you know an ETA for both of these issues. One thing you can do if you accidentally delete a design from a Confluence page is to use the history of the confluence page to restore it to a point before you deleted it. I know that doesn't help if you haven't saved the Confluence page, but thought I would put it out there. Finally, we have a great customer support group, which you can access during business hours from the live chat function in the ProtoShare editor, or call or email. If you get in touch with us, we may be able to help fix the problems that led you to uncover these issues. Also, we love to hear from customers about any problems or desired additional features. Sorry for the problems you encountered, but thanks for letting us know!

Paid-via-Atlassian pricing FAQ

How do upgrades and renewals work?

You can upgrade your Atlassian host product license to increase the user tier for add-on licenses any time. Upgrade prices are calculated based on Atlassian's formula, and are automatically reflected in your cart. View an example of the JIRA upgrade price matrix here.

Add-on licences for downloaded Atlassian products are perpetual. Your original purchase includes 12 months of maintenance. To continue receiving upgrades and support after the initial 12 months, you can renew your maintenance for 50% of the original purchase price. You can purchase maintenance for up to 36 additional months at any time.

OnDemand add-on subscriptions renew each month and can be canceled any time.

How do I determine my pricing tier?

Choose the same user tier you pay for in the Atlassian host application. For example, if you have a JIRA download license for 25 users, you should purchase this tier.

Even if fewer users want to use the add-on than your host application license, the two licenses should match exactly.

What's the difference between OnDemand and download pricing?

Just like your Atlassian host application, there are two pricing models. Pick the model that matches your Atlassian product, and the same rules apply:

Subscriptions renew every month
Add-ons and instances are hosted by Atlassian
Licenses last forever, support and upgrades last for 12 months
Instances and add-ons are hosted on your servers
Do you offer academic, community, or open-source licenses?

Add-on purchase and renewal is half-price if you have an academic license for your Atlassian host application.

Add-ons are always free for community and open-source licenses.

For more details about qualifying for special licenses, see here.

Do you offer enterprise pricing?

Choose enterprise pricing if your Atlassian host application is billed for enterprise licenses.

Enterprise pricing includes 24/7 phone and email support, access to training through Atlassian University, and other perks. Learn more.

Can I extend my free trial?

You can extend your add-on trial up to 5 times – in other words, for up to six months. Extend your trial by generating a new evaluation license key from Atlassian Marketplace. Click Free Trial and you'll be directed to generate a license at MyAtlassian. Paste this license key into the add-on listing in UPM from your Atlassian host application, and you're all set.

Alternatively, if you remove your expiring trial license from your Atlassian host application, you can re-add it back for another free trial.

What are legacy pricing tiers?

If you bought your Atlassian host application during or before February 2012, you qualify for legacy pricing tiers.

  • JIRA tiers are 10, 25, 50, and 100 users. The legacy unlimited tier was 100+ users.
  • The Confluence legacy tiers are 10, 25, 50, 100, 500, and 2000 users. The unlimited legacy tier was 2000+ users.
  • There are no enterprise licenses prior to and including February 2012.
