    More details

Auditor for JIRA solves the problem of the lack of information about past actions performed by multiple JIRA administrators.

Today JIRA doesn't provide complete audit trail for administrative events. In JIRA 6.2 some auditing was introduced, but not everything is tracked. There is no easy way to find out which administrator made which change and when.

Someone deleted an issue? Users were added or deleted? Your default scheme parameters changed affecting all your projects? Plugin was disabled? Custom field was added to all projects for some reason? User's password was reset? Group membership for someone was updated? Somebody changed workflow and things don't work as expected?

With Auditor for JIRA, if any of this happens you know exactly who made the change, when and why. This makes your work much easier and puts all your JIRA administration under control.

This tool has been incredibly useful and I have been using it for the last three years. I was promised by the vendor back in 2013 that the Confluence Auditor plugin would be ready by the middle of 2014, but it has not been ready yet. Any idea when "Confluence Auditor" would be ready? Currently I see a SpaceAuditor plugin for Confluence, but I am not sure how it would impact the overall performance. Jira Auditor never impacted the Jira performance and hence I am confident that the proposed Confluence Auditor from the same vendor would be equally nice add-on. Kindly let me know the status of the Confluence Auditor add-on at schimata2@gmail.com

Great PlugIn - a lot of functionality. Any plans for Jira 6.2.x versions?

I don't see anywhere to file a bug so just wanted to mention this here. Be careful if you get a trial license and it expires. The next time you try to install or upgrade another plugin, it will fill your log with thousands of messages: "2014-04-11 13:01:44,552 http-bio-8080-exec-173 WARN mjanulewicz 781x163822x15 1rslwz9 10.1.2.127,127.0.0.1 /rest/plugins/1.0/pending/407e9d41-280a-4de0-aab0-877d955a2b2e [com.plugenta.jiraauditor.RequestProcessor] <span style="color: red">Your license has expired. Please <a href="http://www.plugenta.com/jiraauditor/?r=license">renew it now</a>.</span>" Several a second until you can disable the plugin. Otherwise, a really useful plugin for Jira 5.X.

I'm using this plugin with Jira 5.2. Bought it six months ago. The audit log has not been very useful to date. The type of events logged is limited and there isn't a way to extend the coverage to new events (via a configuration or API). The audit log UI is very average. Not impressed with this plugin.

Trial version is very limited. Does this track change to component names?

    Paid-via-Atlassian pricing FAQ

How does server add-on pricing work?

Server products and add-ons are hosted on your servers. Licenses are perpetual and the purchase price include 12 months of maintenance (support and version updates).

You can renew maintenance after 12 months at 50% of the current purchase price. You can upgrade the tier of your host product and add-on licenses at any time. Upgrade prices are calculated based on Atlassian's formula (view example).

If add-on pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

How do I determine my server pricing tier?

For JIRA Server 7.0 or later, the add-on tier should match the maximum tier of the licensed JIRA applications on your instance. For example, if you're running JIRA Software (50 users) and JIRA Service Desk (10 agents) on the same instance, you should purchase the 50-user tier for add-ons.

For versions of JIRA Server prior to 7.0, the add-on tier should match the licensed user tier for JIRA. Even if fewer users want to use the add-on than your JIRA license, the two licenses should match exactly.

Do you offer academic, community, or open-source licenses?

For server add-ons, purchase and renewal is half-price if you have an academic license for your Atlassian host application. Server add-ons are always free for community and open-source licenses. Cloud add-ons do not have discounted or free licenses.

For more details about qualifying for special licenses, see here.

Can I extend my free trial?

For server add-ons, you can extend your add-on trial up to 5 times - in other words, for up to six months. Extend your trial by generating a new evaluation license key from Atlassian Marketplace. Click Try it free and you'll be directed to generate a new license. Paste this license key into the add-on listing in UPM from your Atlassian host application, and you're all set.

How can I buy add-ons for my legacy JIRA Server or Confluence Server license?

If you own a legacy JIRA Server Unlimited (100+ users) or Confluence Server Unlimited (2000+ users) license purchased in 2012 or earlier, legacy add-on pricing is no longer available. You have two options for add-on purchasing:

    • Purchase the add-on at the non-legacy Unlimited (10000+ users) tier.
    • Renew your JIRA or Confluence license at a non-legacy tier, then purchase the add-on at the same tier.
