    Installation

    1. Download Remote User HTTP Authenticator. The add-on is downloaded as a JAR file.
    2. Shutdown your JIRA instance.
    3. Copy Remote User HTTP Authenticator file into your JIRA installation directory under /WEB-INF/lib/.Add-ons using the Plugins 1 framework can't be installed in Universal Plugin Manager. See our documentation for more information.
    4. Start your JIRA instance.
    5. You're all set!
