All the information at your fingertips

    Set items’ progress via statuses

    Adapt Checklists to your workflow

Rapidly see, from the issue detail view, the status of the checklist along with which items are checked and which ones are not. Filtering mechanisms help you save real-estate while focusing on the important things.

Use Checklist’s built-in statuses to quickly indicate items that are currently being worked on. You can also use statuses to indicate when items are not applicable or blocked.

Adapt the Checklist to the issue at hand. Add items during workflow transitions and prevent anyone from resolving or closing the issue before it is deemed completed.

    More details

Trusted by many of the Global and Fortune 500 companies to get the job done, Checklist can help you simplify your workflow in JIRA. Whether you are a Goods and Services company or an Agile development team, Checklist will help you track what is important to you without resorting to JIRA's subtasks. Ideal for Definition of Done, Acceptance Criteria or any ToDo lists!

Some of the things you can do with Checklist:

    • Add checklist items directly in the issue or have global items applicable to all issues
    • Set the statuses of individual checklist items
    • Insert hyperlinks and other special formatting
    • Use the workflow function to conditionally add checklist items during a transition
    • Validate if all the checklist items were completed before transitioning an issue
    • Search for partially or fully completed checklists
    • Track which checklist items were added, removed, modified or completed
    • Select who can add, remove or modify checklist items
    • Chose to make checklist items optional or mandatory

I loved the plugin. Now that I started using the Cloud JIRA version I am dissapointed there is no support for it. Why so?

    Hi Anna,

Thank you for the review! At one point we were exploring the possibility to have a cloud version but it was basically impossible to provide the same experience and it is still impossible to provide the entire feature set that Checklist currently has. Also, other things kept us away from it and now other alternatives have emerged. That being said, we still keep it in mind but I cannot say if and when we would be doing it.

A good checklist add-on but it seems that the "@mention" feature breaks email address, rendering them weirdly. A way to turn this off would be nice. I sent you a mail about this issue. UPDATE: This issue was fixed quickly by the developer. Works great now, cheers! Will update my rating to 4 stars due to great and quick update.

This checklist is one of the better plug in's for Checklists and I'd likely to incorporate it into our new workflow. One request: Are you able to add the Checklist Validator field in the "Conditions" section of the workflow (similiar to what you already have in "Validators")? I'd like to explore into making it so that a specific transition button is hidden after all the mandatory items from a checklist are checked or the reverse (a specific transition button is shown after all the mandatory items from a checklist are checked). Please let me know if this is a feasible feature. Thank you!

    Hi,

Thank you for the review. However, Checklists only provides Validators and no Conditions. It is in our backlog for a future enhancement but we have no date for it.

UPDATE 07/21/2016: There is a really annoying "glitch" with this plugin, and it's really driving me crazy...When I am adding a new checkbox and then hit the "OK checkmark" to accept the new entry, it DELETES my information!!! For some reason, I must hit enter to have the information added. In my opinion, if I hit the "OK checkmark" for the checklist while adding or editing a single item, the plugin should add the item or save the edits, not erase them. Great plugin. It's easily the most used plugin for our team. One big weakness, in my opinion: Cannot easily move unchecked items to another issue. Basically, I have one issue which holds my small todos throughout the day. It's a running list and i add at random and check off a few whenever I have a couple minutes to perform the small task. I want the list to keep running and move from one day to the next, while leaving the checked items "behind" when they are checked. I can mostly do this now, by exporting all items from the previous day's list, importing to a new day, and then clearing the duplicates for each of the two days. But, this is a little too tedious. It would be nice to click "settings" -> "move unchecked to another issue" -> and then select the issue to move. This would delete the unchecked from the current issue and transfer them into the new issue. Anyways...just a thought. Update: Thank you for considering it. I would say that it's a typical request since it's just a custom field that the template would auto populate.

Looks really helpful. Unfortunately we are working on the cloud version of Jira. When are you planning on also offering this plug-in for cloud users? Cheers!

Unfortunately, there are not short term plans to offer Checklist as a cloud add-on. Other add-ons provide this functionality on JIRA cloud.

    Pricing

    Pricing details are loading…

    Paid-via-Atlassian pricing FAQ

How does server add-on pricing work?

Server products and add-ons are hosted on your servers. Licenses are perpetual and the purchase price include 12 months of maintenance (support and version updates).

You can renew maintenance after 12 months at 50% of the current purchase price. You can upgrade the tier of your host product and add-on licenses at any time. Upgrade prices are calculated based on Atlassian's formula (view example).

If add-on pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

How do I determine my server pricing tier?

For JIRA Server 7.0 or later, the add-on tier should match the maximum tier of the licensed JIRA applications on your instance. For example, if you're running JIRA Software (50 users) and JIRA Service Desk (10 agents) on the same instance, you should purchase the 50-user tier for add-ons.

For versions of JIRA Server prior to 7.0, the add-on tier should match the licensed user tier for JIRA. Even if fewer users want to use the add-on than your JIRA license, the two licenses should match exactly.

Do you offer academic, community, or open-source licenses?

For server add-ons, purchase and renewal is half-price if you have an academic license for your Atlassian host application. Server add-ons are always free for community and open-source licenses. Cloud add-ons do not have discounted or free licenses.

For more details about qualifying for special licenses, see here.

Can I extend my free trial?

For server add-ons, you can extend your add-on trial up to 5 times - in other words, for up to six months. Extend your trial by generating a new evaluation license key from Atlassian Marketplace. Click Try it free and you'll be directed to generate a new license. Paste this license key into the add-on listing in UPM from your Atlassian host application, and you're all set.

How can I buy add-ons for my legacy JIRA Server or Confluence Server license?

If you own a legacy JIRA Server Unlimited (100+ users) or Confluence Server Unlimited (2000+ users) license purchased in 2012 or earlier, legacy add-on pricing is no longer available. You have two options for add-on purchasing:

    • Purchase the add-on at the non-legacy Unlimited (10000+ users) tier.
    • Renew your JIRA or Confluence license at a non-legacy tier, then purchase the add-on at the same tier.
