Better Content Archiving and Analytics for Confluence

A good tool for improving knowledge management, especially in a wiki, where keeping outdated content under control is no trivial task. As always, it's not just the tool that's important, but also the people. For me, this tool belongs as a standard plugin in every larger Confluence instance. Support is very good.

Better Content Archiving is a well-designed and thoughtfully built app that makes knowledge management seamless. The support team is excellent—responsive, proactive, and open to feedback. Suggestions for improvements and customizations are taken seriously, and there’s always an active, constructive exchange.

Better Content Archiving has been critical for us to implement a knowledge management lifecycle across the org. Better Content Archiving has been a huge help for us in making sure that our documentation is up-to-date. You're able to configure email alerts, which we use to send to department heads to ensure all documentation in their space is accurate. Previously we would need to look through all pages to see what needed attention - this add-on saves us a ton of time through reporting.

We are currently trialing this application, and it seems to be very promising for a purpose-built content lifecycle application. The CEO responded to my support request and was extremely helpful fixing some of the CQL problems in my scheme. I'll be moving forward with a purchase and would recommend this app to others.
