Gosh if only the tooltip was wider and wasn't centered and you could alter the text and background color

Just tested this, but I was disappointed to see it doesn't offer tooltips for links to other wiki pages, just web links. To prevent links breaking when a page is moved, I don't want to link to other pages using weblinks. Is there a plan to allow tooltips for confluence page and attachment links?

I agree with the points made in terry.cornall's review below. re: "I have published a new version to allow the ability to specify a web link URL in addition to the tooltip." My IT team installed this Tooltips add-on but I don't see the ability to specify a web link URL. Did we install an older version?

Hi Andrew, thanks for your feedback. You can specify a web link URL in the existing Web link tab of the link dialog. I updated the docs to include instructions for this if you need more help. I have also released version 1.3.1 which fixes the issue Terry raised where clicking on the tooltip jumps to the top of the page.

Great idea and easy to use, BUT confusing because although it inserts like a link and edits like a link and looks like a link, it isn't a link and you can't apparently have a link and a tooltip at the same time. If you click on a tooltip it takes you to the top of the page. Very annoying. If you edit an existing link and 'add' a tooltip it destroys the existing link. Really very annoying. I'm just hoping I'm missing something and the ability to have both at the same time is there, I just haven't worked it out yet.

Hi Terry, thanks for the feedback. I have published a new version to allow the ability to specify a web link URL in addition to the tooltip. Please let me know if that addresses your issue. I'm unable to reproduce your other issue regarding links taking you to the top of the page. Could you please submit a bug in the issue tracker along with your version of Confluence and web browser? Thanks!
