Wonder how your log looks like?

We offer a REGEX CF, so you can add nicely formatted data into your JIRA

However, this is not all. Check the calculated SIL script field, it's awsome!

This addon offers also a LOG field, so you can see in your issue the part of the log that served the current screen.

    More details

The plugin offers a suite of custom fields that we think should be part of every JIRA installation. These will improve the user experience and will allow you to customize JIRA to better suit your needs.

The complete list of the contained custom fields is:

    • Interval Custom Field: JIRA style interval field
    • SIL script (Calculated) Custom Field: Powered by SIL, scripted.
    • Regex Custom Field: Input data according to your REGEX
    • Log Custom Field: A must for JIRA plugin developers and administrators. See the logs in the issue your are working on.

Beware when using this plugin, that there is a dependency : katl-commons. Which will cause your XML export to be broken unless you install the plugin BEFORE restoring from the XML. See : https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/could-not-find-entity-for-entityname-when-restoring-a-xml-backup-into-a-jira-application-317951241.html So, this plugin uses JIRA in an UNSUPPORTED manner. Beware.

Hello! Good free addon! I only have one problem: When I want to recover the last comment for an issue, it returns the text with format (i.e.: {color:red}*+Hello+*{color}). Is there a way to return only the text (in the example: "Hello")?? Thanks in advance for the help!

It seems like it is only right to use at least some of the time Kepler's plugins have saved me and write a review for them. I can't say enough good things about their suite of plugins, but I don't want to ramble. In short - the Kepler family of plugins is almost everything you'll need to REALLY customize your JIRA instance. If you're feeling constrained in what you're able to do, then get this! It's a Swiss Army knife and is really powerful. Many things I've been surprise that Atlassian failed to implement in JIRA can be done with the Kepler suite. I hope that Atlassian makes the Kepler suite an integrated part of JIRA in the future. The Kepler team is VERY responsive and has fixed most bugs I have caused while pushing JIRA to the limit. They have also implemented more than a few feature requests I've made.
