An easy and portable way to script your JIRA workflows and screens

An easy language with a nice editor

    Automate your actions

    A tool for complex workflows

SIL is for sure an easy language. And it has a nice editor too!

The dashboard can help you automate your mundane tasks. Reusable scripts to share with your co-workers.

It's true, you can see at a glance your workflows, but JJUPIN has more features like this to discover!

    More details

JJUPIN is a JIRA addon that offers scripting capabilities in the JIRA workflow using a language we called SIL (Simple Issue Language).

SIL is a new scripting language designed for JIRA with the goal to empower you, the customer, and help create a JIRA installation that will adapt very easily to your actual needs without any special knowledge of the JIRA internals. SIL is portable across JIRA versions.

    Use cases:

    • Complex workflows
    • JIRA Remote integration
    • Integration of other systems in your JIRA

Part of JJUPIN, Live Fields puts you in full control of the screen, you can disable / enable / etc most of the UI of JIRA using no Javascript at all !

I can't say enough about this plugin. JIRA without JJupin is like a hand without a thumb, This tool doesn't just open up windows and doors that were closed in JIRA, it allows you to knock down the friggen walls! I would need 100 plugins to replace this one. So much easier to learn and faster to write scripts than the groovy based alternatives.

JJupin is one of the best plugins we have used, the SIL language is very easy to learn, we use this add-on completed a lot of functions. I hope every JIRA user can use it and love it.

The JJupin plugin has by far become one of the most important and versatile plugins in our arsenal. We have a very complex set of workflows that integrate with internal and external tools and so far, pretty much every customization we've wanted to make has been doable using SIL. Don't let the "S" (Simple) in SIL fool you -- there are some very powerful built-in routines such as httpGet/httpPost and "call" that pretty much make anything you do limitless. And as many others have said, the price is absolutely awesome compared to other plugins with a lot less functionality (make the justification very easy to your boss!)

Before I administer our Jira instances, we have other plugins in place but are pretty specific to what it's designed for. I was able to replaced all of it with JJUPIN, we were able to make very complex workflows. Every new requirements just seems to be very easy to implement this time due to Jjupin. I just wish more people will discover the power of this plugin, or Jira integrates this on their future releases.

I've working with JIRA since 2006 and JJupin is one of the best plugins I have used. As a consultant, it has allowed me to take my "JIRA Game" to next level. The things JJupin allows you to do are simply amazing. As far as scripting goes, I've pretty much seen it all: Jelly, Groovy, Jython, etc. and the Simple Issue Language used by JJupin is very easy to learn while being extremely powerful. Let's not forget that SIL scripts are backwards compatible so you do not need to worry your code will need to be rewritten in a future release. Last but not least, the price is very cheap with respect to the value you will get out of JJupin. It allows you to replace several other plugins you might using today. If you're serious about using JIRA, you'll love JJupin.

    Paid-via-Atlassian pricing FAQ

How does server add-on pricing work?

Server products and add-ons are hosted on your servers. Licenses are perpetual and the purchase price include 12 months of maintenance (support and version updates).

You can renew maintenance after 12 months at 50% of the current purchase price. You can upgrade the tier of your host product and add-on licenses at any time. Upgrade prices are calculated based on Atlassian's formula (view example).

If add-on pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

How do I determine my server pricing tier?

For JIRA Server 7.0 or later, the add-on tier should match the maximum tier of the licensed JIRA applications on your instance. For example, if you're running JIRA Software (50 users) and JIRA Service Desk (10 agents) on the same instance, you should purchase the 50-user tier for add-ons.

For versions of JIRA Server prior to 7.0, the add-on tier should match the licensed user tier for JIRA. Even if fewer users want to use the add-on than your JIRA license, the two licenses should match exactly.

Do you offer academic, community, or open-source licenses?

For server add-ons, purchase and renewal is half-price if you have an academic license for your Atlassian host application. Server add-ons are always free for community and open-source licenses. Cloud add-ons do not have discounted or free licenses.

For more details about qualifying for special licenses, see here.

Can I extend my free trial?

For server add-ons, you can extend your add-on trial up to 5 times - in other words, for up to six months. Extend your trial by generating a new evaluation license key from Atlassian Marketplace. Click Try it free and you'll be directed to generate a new license. Paste this license key into the add-on listing in UPM from your Atlassian host application, and you're all set.

How can I buy add-ons for my legacy JIRA Server or Confluence Server license?

If you own a legacy JIRA Server Unlimited (100+ users) or Confluence Server Unlimited (2000+ users) license purchased in 2012 or earlier, legacy add-on pricing is no longer available. You have two options for add-on purchasing:

    • Purchase the add-on at the non-legacy Unlimited (10000+ users) tier.
    • Renew your JIRA or Confluence license at a non-legacy tier, then purchase the add-on at the same tier.
