    Configuration is just easy

    Tables can be scripted

Our database fields are indexed in JIRA

Configuration means that you need to provide the SQL offering the data, the datasource and optional additional fields (related, child fields). Apart from the datasource, you do not need to edit files.

Sometimes, showing some data from a database it's not enough. If you need to process it first, here's how.

You can run reports on them, even if the information is extracted from the database. We provide support for your reporting gadgets.

    More details

Database custom field, used to extract information at editing time. This addon is no-cost software.

Allows you to import a field value from an external database into a database custom fiels (simple fields, auto-complete fields or even tables).

The value is selected by the user from the set of results (as a select list or autocomplete box) retrieved by executing a query on the database.

The addon provides an administration page where the queries can be associated to these fields.

Data tables can be scripted with SIL.

Note: Huge selects fields can be addressed by KCF-PRO

A good plugin with nice features. But one critical bug for the customers: If I have a set of database fields on a create screen and I move one of the fields to an another tab, the data in the field does not load. When moved back, the field loads the data. Please have a look at that. Thanks! Radim

    Hi Radim,

Thank you for taking time to write a review. We have tested the plugin and noticed that dependency still works even if the parent field is on another tab (at least in the 4.0.0 version). We would like to reproduce your issue and help you, and would appreciate if you give us more details on it here:

When using this plugin to access tables already available in the Jira database, I am worried to be forced to duplicate the database parameters in context.xml while there are already declared in dbconfig.xml: can't the plugIn use the "defaultDS" already defined in Jira? (the documentation at https://confluence.kepler-rominfo.com/display/DBCF/Data+Source+Configuration doesn't explain if the defaultDS can be used) Thanx

Please, please, please make this work again in the Service Desk Customer Portal!! It was a bit slow in the Customer Portal, but it was still an extremely useful plugin. But now..
