Hi I am using "Comala share it" on atlassion server, it seems it is not working because when i am trying to share it with the other person by email address. I am simply putting email address to share the current page or space but the person is not getting anything about the Confluence page or space. Is there anything probably I am doing wrong? what would be your suggestions on it? Thanks Shazia

    Hi Shazia,

You probably have the email template misconfigured. Could you create a support ticket in https://comalatech.zendesk.com/ so we can help you correct it?

Absolutely awesome plugin and completely transformed the way we share information with our executives! We built out executive dashboards in confluence, but weren't thrilled with the native export to PDF functionality that comes with Confluence because it often ruins the format of the pages. This plugin made it possible to share critical information with our executives without having to worry about sloppy PDFs and even allows them to interact with the pages directly, so I can make use of expanding content, checklists and so forth directly on the page. During our free trial we had a little trouble with another plugin (RedefinedWiki) that Comala support helped us solve super quickly, which sealed the deal for us in wanting to purchase the licensing for this Share It plugin. Thank you for all your help Gorka!

This plugin provides an innovative solution to transform the way how people share some specific attachments with each other, especially when the attachments are drowned out by many other attachments within the same page. And the Keinoby team is very sincere to explore and try to understand the needs of users. They always respond to my questions promptly with great patience and released the corrected version almost overnight!

Nice! Regarding your suggestion to control the sharing of attachments, an attachment can only be shared by those users with the right permissions. I mean, if a user can see-download an attachment, then she can share it. Thus, users without access to that attachment cannot share it. We thought this would be the right way, since a user that can view an attachment could download it and upload it to any public repository (dropbox, twitter, etc.). Maybe you could control the access to specific pages, so those users cannot share those attachments. Anyway, feedback about this is welcome! Regards, Gorka

    Paid-via-Atlassian pricing FAQ

How does server add-on pricing work?

Server products and add-ons are hosted on your servers. Licenses are perpetual and the purchase price include 12 months of maintenance (support and version updates).

You can renew maintenance after 12 months at 50% of the current purchase price. You can upgrade the tier of your host product and add-on licenses at any time. Upgrade prices are calculated based on Atlassian's formula (view example).

If add-on pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

How do I determine my server pricing tier?

The add-on tier should match the licensed user tier of the Atlassian host application. For example, if you have a Confluence Server license for 25 users, you should purchase the 25-user tier for add-ons. Even if fewer users want to use the add-on than your host application license, the two licenses should match exactly.

Do you offer academic, community, or open-source licenses?

For server add-ons, purchase and renewal is half-price if you have an academic license for your Atlassian host application. Server add-ons are always free for community and open-source licenses. Cloud add-ons do not have discounted or free licenses.

For more details about qualifying for special licenses, see here.

Can I extend my free trial?

For server add-ons, you can extend your add-on trial up to 5 times - in other words, for up to six months. Extend your trial by generating a new evaluation license key from Atlassian Marketplace. Click Try it free and you'll be directed to generate a new license. Paste this license key into the add-on listing in UPM from your Atlassian host application, and you're all set.

How can I buy add-ons for my legacy JIRA Server or Confluence Server license?

If you own a legacy JIRA Server Unlimited (100+ users) or Confluence Server Unlimited (2000+ users) license purchased in 2012 or earlier, legacy add-on pricing is no longer available. You have two options for add-on purchasing:

    • Purchase the add-on at the non-legacy Unlimited (10000+ users) tier.
    • Renew your JIRA or Confluence license at a non-legacy tier, then purchase the add-on at the same tier.
