This is an update of my previous review of two stars. The issue was resolved with help of their support. So as far as the add-on goes I updated my rating to four stars. Of course it would still be cool if the feature was part of the add-on, as well as the possibility to show/hide content like Scroll Office can do. Old review: It's a great add-on, but it lacks one feature I have seen in another add-on by K15t which is crucial for our use case. In Scroll Office there's a macro "Page title" which allows to change the title of a page in the exported Word document. We need a similar macro for Scroll Viewport as well (or Scroll Viewport to acknowledge the Scroll Office Page Title macro) to have consistent titles in our print manuals as well as our online manuals. For most part we can use a Velocity macro in the template to get a different page title from page properties, but that means you can't use the built-in navigation tree and have to create it with static HTML as the REST node offered by the add-on only returns the page title. If K15t would either add a new macro for the page title (and/or use their Scroll Office Page Title macro, which would be even better) I would give this add-on four stars!

    Hi there,

Thanks for your review and the improvement request. There might actually be a way to achieve this by making some tweaks to your template (e.g. to fall back to specific page properties or the mentioned Scroll Title Macro).

To further analyze it would be great if you could send us your Scroll Viewport Template to support@k15t.com - we'll then have a closer look to see what we can come up with.

If it's possible we'll also document this in the Scroll Viewport docs for other users.

    Cheers,Nils

Scoll Viewport is technically the most advanced & flexible addon when it comes to modify the UI of a Confluence space. The embedded theme editor is simply awesome & reduces turnaround times to a minimum. Note that a good technical knowledge (Velocity & Confluence) is needed to get the most out of it. Support & documentation is outstanding!

Kudos to the k15t team for bringing out Viewport for Confluence. It gave us the flexibility to address several UI issues that we couldn't fix in the past... and Scroll Viewport is easy! Keep the innovation coming, k15t. Great job! Giridhar B. Director, CA Technologies

We're using Viewport in combination with Scroll Translations to build our multilingual Websites and it's running so damn well! When it comes to internationalization, the combination of Viewport and Translations is the best solution we came across yet (and we tried a lot the last 5 years).

    Pricing

    Paid-via-Atlassian pricing FAQ

How does server add-on pricing work?

Server products and add-ons are hosted on your servers. Licenses are perpetual and the purchase price include 12 months of maintenance (support and version updates).

You can renew maintenance after 12 months at 50% of the current purchase price. You can upgrade the tier of your host product and add-on licenses at any time. Upgrade prices are calculated based on Atlassian's formula (view example).

If add-on pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

How do I determine my server pricing tier?

The add-on tier should match the licensed user tier of the Atlassian host application. For example, if you have a Confluence Server license for 25 users, you should purchase the 25-user tier for add-ons. Even if fewer users want to use the add-on than your host application license, the two licenses should match exactly.

Do you offer academic, community, or open-source licenses?

For server add-ons, purchase and renewal is half-price if you have an academic license for your Atlassian host application. Server add-ons are always free for community and open-source licenses. Cloud add-ons do not have discounted or free licenses.

For more details about qualifying for special licenses, see here.

Can I extend my free trial?

For server add-ons, you can extend your add-on trial up to 5 times - in other words, for up to six months. Extend your trial by generating a new evaluation license key from Atlassian Marketplace. Click Try it free and you'll be directed to generate a new license. Paste this license key into the add-on listing in UPM from your Atlassian host application, and you're all set.

How can I buy add-ons for my legacy JIRA Server or Confluence Server license?

If you own a legacy JIRA Server Unlimited (100+ users) or Confluence Server Unlimited (2000+ users) license purchased in 2012 or earlier, legacy add-on pricing is no longer available. You have two options for add-on purchasing:

    • Purchase the add-on at the non-legacy Unlimited (10000+ users) tier.
    • Renew your JIRA or Confluence license at a non-legacy tier, then purchase the add-on at the same tier.
