Scroll PDF Exporter seems to be a good tool, fairly straightforward to style. Support was very helpful. The price is just very high for a small shop.

Great add-on. I was able to recreate our Word-template to 100 % so there won't be any deficits using Confluence as our new documentation tool. Especially the possibilities using CSS, own fonts and HTML make the handling and the templates itself very versatile. The best feature to me is the usage of placeholders, especially for the own metadata defined by the metadata-plugin. One feature I would like to have would be placeholders that can be filled with content while exporting the pdf. Like an export wizard. Is that possible?

    Hi Ales,

Thanks for the great review :-)

You can also define your own placeholders using the page properties macro (see our documentation).

Let's discuss your question with the export wizard in the Atlassian Answers thread you recently opened.

This add-on has helped Tefpay.com to enjoy centralized documentation and workflows, to collaborate on end-user guide and being able to produce professionally looking PDF's for customers and partners. Its easy to establish various templates for look and feel, and essentially simple to generate & customize the PDF output with tailored macros. Thank you for making our work-life so much easier!

Awesome add-on. A must for any confluence implementation. It far surpasses other standard pdf print options that come with your browser and confluence. You will need to know a bit of CSS and HTML to customise your templates - but that's not overly difficult. This tool really helped create company stationery formats to match and supersede existing templates. Only issue I have is that (at present) the exporter doesn't do landscape. But that's in development apparently. The other issue I have is that documentation is lacking in some areas. But most things can be inferred if you know CSS/HTML.

Love this add-on so far. It's great that you can get extremely detailed in the customization by editing the HTML and CSS. We write up our project plans in our internal Confluence Space and then quickly export them into a very professional plan with a title page for when we need to present it to other departments. It's also great that you can upload your own fonts and work them into the CSS so we can use our internal branding font.

    Paid-via-Atlassian pricing FAQ

How does server add-on pricing work?

Server products and add-ons are hosted on your servers. Licenses are perpetual and the purchase price include 12 months of maintenance (support and version updates).

You can renew maintenance after 12 months at 50% of the current purchase price. You can upgrade the tier of your host product and add-on licenses at any time. Upgrade prices are calculated based on Atlassian's formula (view example).

If add-on pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

How do I determine my server pricing tier?

The add-on tier should match the licensed user tier of the Atlassian host application. For example, if you have a Confluence Server license for 25 users, you should purchase the 25-user tier for add-ons. Even if fewer users want to use the add-on than your host application license, the two licenses should match exactly.

Do you offer academic, community, or open-source licenses?

For server add-ons, purchase and renewal is half-price if you have an academic license for your Atlassian host application. Server add-ons are always free for community and open-source licenses. Cloud add-ons do not have discounted or free licenses.

For more details about qualifying for special licenses, see here.

Can I extend my free trial?

For server add-ons, you can extend your add-on trial up to 5 times - in other words, for up to six months. Extend your trial by generating a new evaluation license key from Atlassian Marketplace. Click Try it free and you'll be directed to generate a new license. Paste this license key into the add-on listing in UPM from your Atlassian host application, and you're all set.

How can I buy add-ons for my legacy JIRA Server or Confluence Server license?

If you own a legacy JIRA Server Unlimited (100+ users) or Confluence Server Unlimited (2000+ users) license purchased in 2012 or earlier, legacy add-on pricing is no longer available. You have two options for add-on purchasing:

    • Purchase the add-on at the non-legacy Unlimited (10000+ users) tier.
    • Renew your JIRA or Confluence license at a non-legacy tier, then purchase the add-on at the same tier.
