Backbone Work Sync for Jira (Two Way Issue Sync)

I am currently using Backbone Sync for bidirectional synchronization between Jira Data Center and Jira Cloud. I am very satisfied with the solution, as it provides reliable real- time synchronization and offers clear visibility into synchronization errors through its monitioring panel. I would also like to express our sincere appreciation to the support team for their prompt and accurate assistance with KS-39414. Thank you for your outstanding support and commitment to customer success.

We've just started using Backbone Sync at AppFox. It works great! We are using it to copy certain Jira tickets to a separate instance, which helps us with SOC 2 Type II and ISO-27001 separation of duty concerns. Also, the team are super responsive and helpful. All round good. Thanks!

Synchronisation throws up many problems that have to be resolved manually. Main issue is synchronising versions over projects. Often Synchronisation stops and we have to resync manually. Contacting the support on this issue resulted in "please schedule an appointment", where no one showed up. Now waiting for the next appointment.

We have evaluated the plugin for a synch of a Jira Service Management project that is not in our reach so we needed a solution without having to install a plugin on the remotes side. We found the solution in this plugin. We needed support for installation and config in some cases and that support was really quick. mostly in 24 hours. And also we got the chance to test the remote license for 3 months so I think that's quite fair. We have now implemented it in production and we are happy with what we got at the end of the process.

  Thank you for taking the time to try out Backbone and sharing your feedback - we truly appreciate it.

  At the moment, Jira Product Discovery unfortunately doesn't support Marketplace apps, which means no apps (including Backbone Work Sync) can be used on it. You can find more details in Atlassian's documentation on Marketplace app compatibility. That’s also why we haven't listed it as a compatible product.

  We agree that this would be a great feature to have, and we'll definitely look into supporting Jira Product Discovery as soon as Atlassian makes it possible.
